It's Sunday deal time and this week U.S. retailers are being stingy lil' buggers when it comes to Xbox 360 savings. For serious. The only semi-good deals we could scrounge up were over at Circuit City who is selling the Call of Duty 4 Game of the Year edition for $50 and giving out a free $10 gift card with purchase of Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. And that's it. Seeing that the good deals Stateside aren't as fruitful as we expected, we took our research up north and discovered that this week Best Buy Canada is offering The Darkness for $20 and both GRAW2 and RSV for teh free with an Xbox 360 Pro purchase. That's all we could find, now go be good citizens and spend your bi-weekly check on gaming related goods to help stimulate the economy. God knows it needs it.

Meh. After seeing the screenshots, I want Burnoout Paradise to go on sale for like 30 bucks. Then I would buy. Already have CoD and narnia is not my bag.

just thought i'd throw it out there that some websites such as msn.com are beginning to think that the video game area in the economy is resistant to the recession.

BTW in case some of you haven't picked up Halo 3 it's at Radio Shack for 39.97 and CoD4 is there for 39.97 as well "Clearance" So go buy it there, or make Circuit City price match it.

I have a feeling that Prince Caspian is probably a quick 1000 points to anyone brave enough to play through it (Nearly fell asleep 10 times during the movie, which is pretty good, if not waaaay too long). Definitely a rental though, and only for achievement whores.
COD4 for 50 bucks is a steal though, so I'd advise anyone that hasn't played it, to run out and grab it up. Then again, at 3-4 times through prestige mode, even I'm starting to lose interest in it. (don't worry, that's a couple hundred hours of gameplay worth for your 50 bucks).

All I do anymore is snipe. Something about the .50cal is just so much fun, for some odd reason. It's like the Redeemer in Unreal Tournament or the BFG in Doom. It destroys hopes AND dreams (the enemies, that is).
