Ted Nugent confirms his appearance in Guitar Hero IV on talk radio show
For a game subtitled "Legends of Rock", Guitar Hero III didn't feature that many real-life six-string virtuosos. Sure, you had Rage's Tom Morello, GnR's Slash and a brief cameo by VH1's latest lothario, Poison frontman Bret Michaels -- but many classic rock aficionados who tried their hand at Activision's shredding simulator were left unsatisfied in terms of quantity (and in the minds of those belonging to the churches of Hendrix and Clapton, quality).
Until now, we've yet to hear anything about the roster for the next legit entry in Activision's golden goose franchise (no, we're not nor will we ever count Guitar Hero: Aerosmith), however, that silence was recently broken by the whistle of a flaming arrow through the night air, fired from the heavenly compound bow of the Motor City Madman himself, Ted Nugent. Listen to his radio interview on Detroit's WRIF (about 12:30 in), where he uses all manner of colorful language to describe the mocap process. Now, if they could only get the rest of the Damn Yankees involved, it would definitely ensure a purchase on our end. How 'bout it, Blades?

I think a lot of people question whether Aerosmith is worth building the entire next Guitar Hero game around, or whether GH:Aerosmith is just emblematic of Activision throwing out as many quickie sequels as they can until people get sick of Guitar Hero and stop buying it.
It has the White Stripes.
How can it be bad?

What is up with all these rockers being house in the valley hillbillies.

Besides, the guy loves Crossbows, what's unhealthy about a little obsession with Crossbows?
Inquiring minds want to know.
Fernando...anyone who enjoys guns in video games, and yet can still cling to the bullshit lie that guns are somehow evil, needs a reality check.
I didn't hear anyone one here talking of repealing the 2nd ammendment, they just are just indicating they don't like guns. Is that an invalid position to hold?
And I don't keep any guns in my house, still those who do..more power to em.
Lord Bowser, I'm getting quite sick of you comment.
To paraphrase Yahtzee, if he's a legend of rock, a grilled cheese sandwich is haute cuisine.

So nobody wins. Its an automatic draw. Because I fucking love both of those songs.

The fact that your stance and comment doesn't surprise me in the least, figures.
I always find it interesting that, more often then not, limp wristed liberals refer to second amendment supporters as "gun nuts" which makes about as much sense as calling a 1st amendment supporter a "free speech nut". Go figure.

Grow up.
When you stop portraying those against you with a broad and insulting brush, maybe you can understand both sides of an argument and then begin to make cohesive arguments.

1. I have yet to meet a gun owner who doesn't fetishize his guns; he'll take them out and lovingly fondle every nook and cranny with an intimacy that they could never show a woman.
2. The second amendment was intended to provide for the defense of the United States, not for unrestricted gun ownership. Remember the "well-regulated militia" part? That means if King George comes to "reclaim the colonies," you can have at him. Otherwise, you don't need those armor-piercing cop-killer bullets.
3. Ted Nugent had one half-decent song and has spent the last thirty years coasting on his appeal to illiterate right-wingers. He stays (barely) on the media radar by worming his way onto talk radio, making deliberately inflammatory comments about people like Kurt Cobain or Hilary Clinton, and by releasing animal-snuff films under the guise of "bowhunting instruction." If he's a legend of rock, so are the New Monkees.

I could care less if they have a 'rock legend' in the game...
What I want are decent note charts, some good art direction, and a good set-list.

That is a horrible, horrible list. Tom Morello and Bret Michaels shouldn't have even been anywhere near it, and of all the guitarists in the game, you picked Slash as a virtuoso?
But if the only reason you said those 3 is because they make actual, personal appearances in the game, then you should have worded it muh differently or done a wee bit of research to find out what other guitarists are in the game (songwise).

But I agree, they should have said something like "featured in-person appearance" rather than just "featured."

Yea this man should be someone we all look up to. He also sports the Confederate Flag as a symbol of defiance. He sports it as a historical symbol for those who were told to change their way of life (slavery) south of the Mason Dixon line by the North. How defiant of him.

As for the confederate flag and slavery stuff, yeah that is pretty fucked up but the nuge is a pretty big hillbilly so it makes sense.
It's a sign of Southern Pride. And believe it or not, more people supported the South because of other reasons that were not slavery, as less than 1/4 of people actually owned or used slaves. Robert E. Lee, great American general took the side of the South because he had Southern Nationalism, and did not own any slaves.
Last time I checked the Constitution doesn't say anything about learning english or GTFO?
They're definitely surpassing Guitar Hero 3's Tom Morello and Bret Michaels as far as featuring no talent assfucks goes. Who the fuck is next, the "vocalist" from Cannibal Corpse?
