Fans of Square Enix's SRPG series, take note. A rather lengthy trailer for Front Mission 2089 is available for your viewing pleasure. Within the trailer, we're provided a look at some of the game's characters, as well as a glimpse at some game footage and what most of you undoubtedly care about the most: mech customization. SRPG-aholics are likely to get another pleasant dose of tactical gameplay in Square Enix's upcoming title.

I'll be interested in this game if they confirm it for an english language release.

I liked the first Front Mission on DS although I must go back and actually finish it at some point...at the moment most of my time on the DS is spent with either TWEWY or Shiren the Wanderer.

I want this to get localised, but given the poor sales of the first one I'm not getting my hopes up :(

same. The first game, while a bit dated was still an awesome romp down memory lane, and the extra added scenario that wasn't in the original SFC version of the game was great too. That proved to me that they are still up the challenge of good stories! All the more reason to welcome the next chapeter, if it does get a translation...
