Judge: Jack Thompson is guilty on 27 of 31 misconduct charges

We're not going to make jokes on this one and save the snark until the final ruling, but the judge presiding over self-proclaimed anti-games activist Jack Thompson's Florida Bar trial has recommended the attorney be found guilty on 27 of the 31 misconduct charges – 21 from the Devin Moore case, 4 when in 2006 he tried to declare Bully a public nuisance, and 2 unrelated to video games.

Game Politics has the full story and a list of some of the charges, including "Engaging in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation" and "Making statements that the lawyer knows to be false or with reckless disregard as to the truth or falsity concerning the qualifications or integrity of a judge." A disciplinary hearing is being held June 4. The full report to the Florida Supreme Court is due September 2.

Why isn't the question. I'm more interested in when and for how long.

He won't go to prison. The most we can hope for is disbarment, which means he won't be able to practice law in Florida. If he moves and passes a different state's bar exam, he'd be back in full swing.

Maybe there is some justice in this world...

And believe me, Jack Thompson is FINALLY going to get what he deserves.

OK, so he probably deserves life without parole, but at least he'll get something and hopefully made such a fool of that he won't try any of his crazy stunts again.

If he hits 31, would he unlock an achievement?

He's already unlocked the "Mild Vinegar and Sour Grapes Douche" achievement at 10, the "El Douchearino" achievement at 15, and the "Giga-Douche Gundam" at 25.

he should be forced to go on air and list everything he has said that was total bullshit, and apologize on air for each and every one. then he should be stripped of his license and never be allowed to be a lawyer or in any kind of media again, let alone tv.

Rejoice all you want, but let me be the wet blanket, he's an idiot, but he did a lot for being a liar and a fool. And seeing how much he almost did, I think we should all take a look at the people who supported him, they're still a drain on your tax dollars and our time. He may be taken care of, but don't let down your guard. Especially if Clinton wins the nomination.

OMFGIH!!! Justice prevails once again. As for his sentance, He should have to play then ENTIRE Grand Theft Auto series, 1-GTA4, and any other game he has EVER badmouthed, and any other sundry punishments we gamers can think of. GAMERS UNITE!!! I only wish I could be on the jury, or at least his lawyer... I am a lawyer btw.
