Considering most people outside of Japan still think the DS is only a toy for 10-year-olds (seriously, I was playing at a bus stop just this morning and had a woman ask how old I was, then tease me about it), trying to reach out to mature women is probably not a bad idea. Also, America Ferrera is awesome.

So where can I sign up to be like those three and get some money and a DS? :)

I'm seriously considering getting a DS just because it's so flexible and can do games and more. It's also easy enough that my daughter can use it and portable enough to keep her occupied. Add in the Homebrew options (and I've seen some really cool Homebrew apps out there) and it's just a cool system to use overall.

I know one of my co-workers regularly plays the various brain-training games just to stay sharp and keep his mind active. It's also portable enough that it's easy to carry around. Only thing really holding me back from purchase was justifying the cost for the system - $130 just for a system with no games is a little hard to justify. However, that same price with a game or two - not quite as hard. Hopefully picking one up soon with FFIII included in the price. :D

america ferrera looks like she's a legit gamer. using the d-pad + buttons instead of some pansy stylus. that, and her DS is crazy bedazzled w/ her name on it. not that i would do anything like that. .. . . . or .. . no.

i have an idea, how about next time you have the link to the website in the article so i don't have to search for it on my own? don't you know gamers are lazy??
