We reported this to you last week, but we thought it was worth reminding you, in case it got lost in the shuffle: This week will mark the release of Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, Episode One on Xbox Live Arcade, PC, Mac and Linux. No matter what system you pick it up on, it's going to run you $20 (1600 points on Microsoft's service).
Appropriately, it arrives the same day as Garfield: Lasagna World Tour, which is a clash of new and old media that would make even John Henry cry a little bit. Oh well, it's still better than if it was being released on a Monday, right Garfield? ... Wait, where did he go?

I'm getting this. I'm a RPG and Point and Clcik fan, and a big fan of Penny Arcade. :)

Microsoft should celebrate a RROD Day each year. It would be a day of memories of how you got your first RROD, as well as XBL games based around the RROD, like Super RROD Cooldown REMIX where you pour buckets of water on your 360 to cool it down so that you can beat GOW2 before RROD occurs.

Penny Arcade is clearly in the forefront of pushing foreward stupid ideas, just because they can.

My boyfriend wants the Mac version and I want the Xbox one. Penny Arcade may be the downfall of us.

I'm getting it. I mean, how often do I get the chance to buy ANY game for Linux, much less one that I think I might actually enjoy?

Ironically (or is coincidentally??...) I first heard about Garfield Minus Garfield from Penny Arcade. Funny stuff!

Folks, just download the demos on both platforms and see which you'd enjoy. BTW, this episode is reportedly 5-10 hours long and they've planned for three more episodes.
I sure wish they would have gone $15, as $15x4 = $60. Much more palatable than $80 :(
