Welcome to the second video installment of X3F Impressions, where we take a look at some of the latest demos on Xbox Live Marketplace. This time, we take a look at Dragonball Z: Burst Limit. The long and short of it that Burst Limit is pretty decent fighting game, and one that Dragonball Z fans will probably enjoy quite a bit. Check out the video above and decide whether or not the demo belongs on your hard drive.

At the beginning when you said the line about "if you dont know these names, this isnt for you", that is pretty bad dude.
I have no clue who those dudes are and was still able to play the demo just fine. Not only that, I always thought Dragon Ball Z was the gayest thing on Earth until I played the demo.
After I got through all of the initial gayness I was more than surprised to find what seemed like a pretty damn good game.
So, to make that assumption from a position like yours might not be the best idea.
Don't get me wrong, there is still a considerable about of gayness to be found in that demo and I would rather hang myself than ever watch a Dragon Balls z cartoon, but I would play that game.
Also, lighten up dude, you sound like you have to take a dump for the whole clip.
Wow I think eclipse is really upset about being raped by his dad all day and all he bought him was a PS3 to keep his mouth shut...keep his mouth shut metaphorically speaking. OOOO EPIC BURN...you sir, just got owned.
Oh yeah the game looks slightly better but they are still using the cell-shaded crap so there isn't any effing difference. It could be for the Wii or the PSP.
The Japanese have this tedency to release anime games games in succesion without or little improvement in the formula and the "if it isn't broken don't fix it" statement doesn't apply, just look at all the Gundamn games.
Cel-shading is awesome. (No joke, I like cartoony games. I play games to /escape/ reality.)
Do you suggest they try a more realistic approach..... *bursts out laughing.* Yes yes, we should make the DragonBall Z guys look like real people, genius!
In fact I'm quite sure if they dropped the cel-shading and adopted a more worldly apperance noone would buy it excpet the Japanese. I'm sure you would love to watch to realistic looking sweaty half-naked men slap bodies together for hours on end but most people wouldn't.
No you big homosexual idiot. I'm not homophobic but images of half naked man never cross into my mind, in matter of fact I never mentioned anything of realistic graphics (Way to go to stereotype occidental gamers). Anything you want to share with us you big paluca?
What I meant is that is waste of hardware using the same effing cell-shading over and over. Use a different type of graphics, one that makes things looks more manga-ish , polished and colorful instead of making all looks like motherfucking crayola box world. Also it doesn’t matter if you improve the graphics a little if you can’t explore the environment more freely, again is just like any DBZ PSP or Wii game if you don’t make a core change into the game. Probably you are one of those idiots that buy Madden every year for the grass updates.
Funny people b*tch about EA doing the same game over and over but yet support this stuff. If it doesn’t improve anything you can buy the last year version and stick with it as simple as that.
Anticrawl I’m disappointed never thought you were one of those weaboos. Wapaneses like you should be dragged out of their homes and be killed in the streets.
(In the main post I meant “wasn’t humiliating enough”)
Indeed, but that doesn't tell me how to do the defensive teleport, nor does it explain what an "Ultimate Move Attack" is. Just having a list of moves doesn't help me figure out what they are used for or if they have any special requirements.
My only real concerns here is that there isn't any environmental damage or violence. I was really hoping to see that special beam cannon blow a hole in raditz/goku like in the show. Although I don't care about the violence ultimately. I'm way more concerned that there isn't any environmental damage. Anyone who watches the show knows that those energy blasts should be blowing huge craters in the ground. In fact that's one of the greatest things about the ki blasts is blowing massive chunks out of the earth. I'm really doubting this will be something they will add before it releases. Oh well this is still the best DBZ fighter I've played to date.
ok first you people need to un-twist your panties.
Second. Thanks Richard for reviewing a anime/manga game. I kind of liked it as well plus since I am a fan I liked it a little more like you said. A tut could of helped alot. Will be waiting for this one to drop in price on ebay and I will be getting it.
