New MGS4 screens sneak out
The screens are mainly of scenarios previously seen in trailers for the game, but do include what appears to be a new cutscene grab along with a somber shot of Snake standing amid headstones in a cemetery (which is actually the backdrop of the game's title screen). Not included: screen grabs of Konami's web page for limited-edition MGS4 PS3 orders sporting a "server outage" message.

But yeah, I liked Solidus more too.
What was so special about Vamp to pick him to live instead of Solidus? Solidus may have been a little old man but with that powersuit and those submachine guns and tentacles that shot bolts of energy and being related to the main protagonist and antagonist of MGS4, WHOOO!!!!!
But yeah, we saw too little of Solidus in the MGS series. Mebbe we should have Metal Gear Solidus after MGS4's done?
Liquid did, and we all know his own death didn't stop him.
Gray Fox also died, and came back to life.
Maybe Solidus will live on through a leg or something, you never know with Mr. Kojima.

Dude, I'm sorry your friends toy company got the facepalm from Kojima for being an idiot, but this is not the place for your personal vendettas.

So, yeah, I'm guessing you haven't got anyting to worry about with MGS4.
It was confirmed at 665p, by the same guy who did the pixel count from Haze and GTA.
But that's only the Online game. We have to wait a few more weeks until the full game is released.

the good part is that they made it look that good at 665 :D:D
1024 by 768 is not a 16/9 isomorphic resolution. Instead, it’s equivalent resolution (contains the same number of pixels) is 1182by665 - or 665p. It is thus accurate to say MGO renders natively at 665p.

Hmmm... I actually think MK Wii was one of the better looking Wii games. But, yeah, Fernando is highly hypocritical.
Actually, if you want to get that technical, though it has the same number of pixels, by the very definition of the 'p,' it is not "accurate to say that MGO renders natively at 665p." That's quite literally the equivalent of saying that because Rosie O'Donnell is the same weight as Yao Ming, she is the same height as Yao Ming. If you want to get technical, make sure you're technically right first.
Frankly I don't care. I lower my resolution to up effects and quality on my PC. I just come read your fanboy comments for the massive lulz.

Raiden
Gaiden
Rai and Gai are pronounced Rye and Guy repectively in japan... since this is where the games originate from.. try pronouncing it correctly. kthx
This game is now 20% less badass.

And it looks as though MGS4 is going to carry on the butched accent tradition. The Middle-Eastern looking militia all have American accents.
Keep them to yourselves unless they're 720 pixels high!

Thats a huge surprise coming from you ... Never would have guessed you would bash a game on the PS3 ... Shouldn't you be playing Pokemon or Wii Fit right about now?
