6 Languages? I count 5: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian - and they don't even have to translate it into English for the PAL version

They treated The Queen's English as a separate language to Webster's English

There are over 500 trophies with their own page long descriptions. Multiply by 6 and try to write all them down.

If it takes them longer to localize the game for europe, they should have started earlier.

It fails because Overlord says so. There's no need for qualification, alright.

So remind me again why Australia needs all these languages? Seems like they could run a spell checker over the text, do the PAL conversion and have it out in a couple of days (not 3 months later). If they could get Australia out of the way, surely that would decrease the logistical problem they have later? Spread the work out?

100% agree. they should just get rid of region encoding and allow us to import american games. I mean, i know that a Z instead of an S in some words is enough to confuse us Aussies, but we can get used to it!

or or how about simply having an "english" version that will play on usa, uk, can and aus regions?

I think Nintendo tried that during the NES and SNES era. C64 and Mega Drive ruled during that time.

Nintendo are really doing a pitiful job in this day and age, everything has changed to what it was a good number of years ago. Halo 3, GTA4 and even MGS4 all have/had world wide releases on the same day (Or near enough,) so I can't understand why Nintendo games can't follow suit and pull world wide releases for the Must have titles, My Wii has been gathering dust after the few days after Mario Kart Wii (Which was released in Europe strangely enough before America, which makes me wonder still why World wide releases are such a problem with Nintendo.)
