I think Konami's entry into the genre will have a lot of the J-Rock people seem to want. In fact, I see the three full-band music games forming a sort of 3-way Venn diagram. All of them will share some core types of music that everyone can get into, but from there they'll all fill specific niches. Guitar Hero 4 will have harder music while Rock Revolution will have more J-poppy music, and Rock Band will have more classic rock.
