Team Fortress 2 DLC coming to Xbox 360, maybe not PS3

Okay, long rant, but w/e

God, Valve treats PS3 owners like shit. The fact that Gabe Newell would say something on to the extent of "PS3 is a waste of time and nobody should develop games for it", is downright disgusting. Then Valve has the nerve to just pass the game down to EA and say "You guys do it". What's wrong with that picture? Dammit, if you're going to put down the PS3 and say it's not worthy of your time, then why the fuck would you make the game for it? Either treat both systems with equal respect, or make it an exclusive, okay Valve? And now Left 4 Dead a 360 exclusive? I like Valve's games. They're awesome. But their attitude towards marketing pisses me off.

And Chez, maybe some of us like the system we have and can't afford more than one. Why don't you just say "Buy it on 360 or PC"? cause that's what you're implying. CoD4 is shit on DS compared to 360? That's retarded. I know you were "trying to prove a point", but i think the PS3 can stand it's ground technically to the 360 more than a DS. It's very obvious that the PS3 can take the updates/DLC, with the release of Home and their trophy system, they could do the achievemnet thing. Or the game could have the achievements built in the DLC. But Valve just isn't willing to give that type of effort. At least, not for the PS3.

Considering that all of the other classes (eight more) will have similar patches, it's gonna be expensive for the console players if these updates will cost money, which would be absurd and extremely unfair. TF2 is really at home on PC, where there are thousands of servers (about 2k right now), tons of players and CUSTOM CONTENT. Plus, you don't have to buy the whole freaking Orange Box in order to play (I only own TF2, not HL2 episodes 1 & 2 or Portal) and you'll get all the updates on time. And heck, you can even play the PC version with an Xbox 360 controller, there's a preset in the game just for that, so there pretty much isn't anything on the 360 that's not in the PC version.

I think that Valve has the rights to do whatever the hell it wants. Yes people are going to hate it, and Gabe Newell is going to become a pariah here, but that's the choice of Valve. You people speak like Valve owes you something because you purchased their game for the PS3. You're wrong. You purchased a shitty version of a game and you're the only one to blame, not Valve. Next time don't give them your money if you're that broken up about it.
