._." Damnit... I'm 1080miles away. I could've died peacefully getting his signature - instead of a blaze of gunfire and alcohol, while wearing a "CHUCK LIVES ON" NRA shirt.

That's awesome. The bad news is, to get the autograph, you have to listen to him give a 90-minute political speech first. No skipping.

If I was in America, residing in the New York area, up at midnight, and owned a Playstation 3 with a copy of MGS, I would consider this.

You're serious. Wow.

I don't give a shit if it's Kojima, Miyamoto, or CliffyB, the concept of flying somewhere just to have them sign a game is really sad to me. The same goes for artists and musicians - if someone I respect happens to be in town, then sure, I'll take the time to see them - but to actually take time off work and get on an airplane to see them... WTF?

You already show your support by buying their stuff. Do you really need to actually worship them?

Go ahead, take my hearts. It won't make you any less sad.

This whole me not having a PS3 to finish my all-time favorite franchise is really starting to hurt. And now he's coming to my doorstep just to rub it in my face. Son of a bitch. Brilliant, brilliant, son of a bitch. Would it be totally silly of me to buy a copy regardless? I will kiss that man on the lips.

I've done that out of fanboyism.

Bought a copy of MGS Portable Ops without having a PSP yet.

And my friends buy sports games all the time for PS3 (without having one), because they want to play at my house and they KNOW i'm not buying any sports games.

Buy your copy only to have it signed by Hideo Kojima?

The grammar in that is a little wonky...

Good, I Live In Queens. So I'll Just wear a shirt with the Xbox 360 Logo, lineup In front Of all the PS3 FanBoys, and When I see the Man himself. I Would Cross My fingers and pray he screams out " Metal Gear Solid 4 For Teh Xbox 360!!!111Onez11!! As for the PS3 version of the MGS4, I'd wipe my ass with it and award it to a Homeless Bum in the streets, and lecture the human being with the History of the famous man who signed the copy of perhaps a very good game on a POS console.

Xbox 360 Fanboys Can then thank me later and honor me as a Hero.

I'd call the cops on him for defecating in public, disturbing the peace, harassment, minor assault & battery with biohazardous goods, and probably for laughs - top it off with a "threat to homeland security"(read: terrorist)charge on the claim that he's not only inciting a riot but is using Taliban slang for intent to ignite explosives in Times Square of all places.

J/k of course about the above, but what was that poster in the subways? "If you see something, say something?"

Learn about tech specs before opening your mouth while you are waiting for your RROD to ship back to you 30 days later(if you are lucky)from Microsoft. Also, try owning both consoles like me(Halo edition 360 pre-order,launch PS3) before talking what u know nothing about. Some PPL(not all)just hate because they are broke. A real gamer gives all consoles props, it is a game.360, ps3, Wii, are "all" cool. They are video games whats not to like? Oh wait, there is the RROD....just like the HD-DVD fans, we'll see how many PS3 haters there are in a few years...You can't put a 9 processor open source 1080p blu-ray beast against, 360. Libraries can be built. Look at the ps2 lifespan and libraries.Wow, you said pos, you are sooo savy. Why would anyone like microsoft prisoner syndrome over open source?

So, they sure know how to pick the venue, don't they. Isn't there something apropos about a huge line of guys waiting to get a video game signed at the Virgin Megastore?

(I'm not saying this as a fanboy of any one system - it would be the same for any video game signing)

;)

""Who?" The clerk sounded half-asleep."

This is why I laugh when people get a hard-on over getting video games autographed by creators. These people aren't "celebrities" and they sure as hell are not athletes. Not sure why one geek would want the autograph of another geek in higher standing. Same thing goes for comic books.

Downvote away, turds.

Whats the difference in that and an athlete/celebrity?

You get excited over someone if you're a fan of their work. Simple as that. Doesn't have to be "OMG HE MAKES GAMES FUCK HIM!"

Same with people who get autographed albums, or autographed books.

I won't down-vote you (cuz thats just stupid), but you're being silly.

Try making a game and compare it to his, and let everyone say wether or not yours looks like a turd compared to his. If you feel that way, then a "gamer" site is not for you, we like games and give the creators props so we can get more awesome games. He is passionate about the games he makes and it shows. When you accomplish half of his accomplishments then talk smack. At the end of the day, they will have a dope game with an autograph increasing the value of the disc and you will have your pecker in your hands.

Wow, someone who isn't a drooling moron besides me responded. I'm shocked. I'm surprised this post doesn't have more replies already, maybe they are too busy watching a documentary on John Carmack while wrapped in their Shigeru Miyamoto blanket. And then later they go spank it to a CliffyB centerfold.

Take all the haters comments with a grain of salt. Last I checked this is a gamer site, WTF? Kojima made one of the dopest franchises out there since the 8 bit days and to have him autograph what is probably his last MG game, is awesome. If you think lining up for an autograph is worship, you are exagerating to try to make as point when there is none. Gamers like to represent stuff like this for themselves to get that exclusiveness as much as to rep for Kojima equally. The truth is, if you think his signing isn't dope, then why are you on a "GAMER" site?? You Jack Offs lol

You are hating because you aren't talented enough to make a game for Coleco Vision(yea, I went there lol). Last I checked this is a gamer site, WTF? Kojima made one of the dopest franchises out there since the 8 bit days and to have him autograph what is probably his last MG game, is awesome. Gamers like to represent that hard to come by status as much as to rep for Kojima equally. The truth is, if you think his signing isn't dope, then why are you on a "GAMER" site?? I would love to wait outside your house for 2 days for you to arrive just to slap you and take your consoles from you, if you even have one, you dont deserve it nor do you deserve to be on a gamer site period
