Given that Munch's Odyssey was a launch title for the 360, and Stranger's Wrath was quite good, it's been surprising that the franchise has not yet seen a another entry. Until now that is, because a new Oddworld is on the way. Maxis co-founder Jeff Braun is involved with the game, and comments that the team is very talented and that he has faith in their ability to create great content. If the new one took insipration from Stranger and added more quirky humor and fun, we'll be all over this. I thought the first Oddworld was cute on PS1. I played Munch's on XBOX1. I enjoy these kindsa puzzle games, but I can't see paying $60. It's a rental at best. Sorry.
Plus, who has time for Oddworld? I mean I'm still having a buncha fun with GTA. NG2, Force Unleashed, Too Human and Starcraft 2 are but a small subset of the amount of fantastic games on the way. Who the hell wants to play oddworld?

Hm could of sworn the oddworld franchise stopped because the studio that did it wanted to go into making films.

I'd rather see the PS1 originals released as Xbox Live Arcade downloads. I have no idea how large they are MB wise though.

Stranger's Wrath was my favourite Xbox game evar.
i would even consider re-buying it if it were to come out on xbox originals, :0.

I'm definitely excited for this. I've owned all of the Oddworld games at one time or another (still own all of the PS1 ones), and I just love the series. Even though not many were fond of Munch's Oddysee, I thought it was an awesome game. I can't wait to see a new Oddworld game, that's for sure.
