Sam & Max Season 3 coming early 2009, Telltale interested in XBLA, PS3

Morganti also said that the company is interested in bringing Sam & Max to the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 in addition to the already-announced Wii-lease. "Our tools currently allow us to develop for PC, Xbox 360, and Wii," she said, later adding, "We're interested in PlayStation, also... we want our games to be everywhere!" Morganti also answered a question about Sam & Max's chances of coming to the Mac ... but the answer is just too painful for us to write about.

lol, that opening line was actually pretty good, and almost something I'd expect Sam to say. Fantastic news anyway. Quite I mean... er... not that it's a wait until next year, just that I hadn't heard anything about season 3, so it's nice to hear something.

Eh, I'm not sure I'd want to have to hold a joystick down to move the cursor across the screen constantly. I've got the PC version, and clicking on everything you can would get really annoying with a controller.

As a point and click fan I would absolutely be in favor of porting Sam & Max to Live- it would be a no brainer. I will concede the point about how point and clicks are a bit more awkward on consoles, but that didn't stop me from loving the Secret of Monkey Island for my PS2 any less. Give us S&M, and quickly!
