There's no doubt that Wii-owning RPG gamers are thirsting for Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, an oasis in a barren desert filled with only ... well, Opoona (as far as traditional Japanese RPGs go, at least). That's why we're really looking forward to Namco Bandai's Tales effort for the Wii, and hope that it can fill the gaping holes in our gamer hearts. Fortunately, everything we've seen on the title so far both looks and sounds enticing. Take, for example, this latest trailer.
This three-minute video is packed with gameplay, cinematics, character introductions, action, drama, romance, and anything else you can think of. The only catch is that it's in Japanese, so unless you understand crazy talk, you probably won't know what's being said. (Note: The video stops short at the end because the last ten seconds got cut off.)
Japan will be getting the game next month, but those of us waiting for North American localization can expect it in September.
[Update: Trailer replaced with a version that doesn't cut off at the end.]

The trailer looks majestic.
As expected, combat looks awesome. Some of those combos were pretty sick. I like how you can juggle the enemies in the air so much. Reminds of me of Tales of Destiny, except in 3D.
Can't wait to see the hi ougis in full.

I am so glad games don't have to rely on stereotypical anime cut scenes for a trailer anymore. If i wanted anime I'd buy the freaking anime. At least the anime stuff came at the end so i'd seen what I needed.

Darn why did they go with that ending, I would have preferred to see Kratos.
Also what is that song that is playing, and who sings it?

The song called "Three-legged Race" by misono.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it canon in the original ToS that Kratos is off watching over Derris Kharlan? Am I missing something, or has it been confirmed that Kratos is returning (asides from his role as narrator)?

I rented Tales of Synphonyia on tge GCN, I like RPGs like it(Kind of like Paper Mario, but w/o the Turn-based combat)
I'll wait for the reviews though. Also, a September release is good! I'll only have to wait 3 months fo Christmas, where Wii Fit is 7 months of wait.
