I wonder why, all of a sudden, this image is making the rounds. First Kotaku, then Wii/DS Fanboy (I forget which), and now Joystiq.

Um, it's a great image and all, but the post under it (and the first comment, too!) is exactly the same thing Kotaku wrote when they posted it.
Not saying you didn't think it up yourselves, it is a pretty obvious idea, after all, but it gives a bad impression.

Nice job Ross. I'm assuming you wrote the Gonzo-Mario-Journalism there. I'm not even a Mario fan, but the pic is great and the little paragraph or two is pretty good as well. A very cultured Joystiq post. Long live the Dr.!!!

OH god I just saw Fear and Loathing for the first time yesterday. That movie was fucking crazy.

We had two bags of natural gas, seventy-five barrels of crude, five sheets of coal, a whole galaxy of cans of unleaded, premium, diesel, jet fuel. Not that we need all that for our lives, but once you get locked into a serious fossil-fuel based society, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.
