I spent the day adding CFW to my brand new slim psp and downloading a ton of homebrew games and other nifty little applications, including a few classic system emulators.
Also, after some digging to find my old PSX discs, I was able to rip a couple and get them up and running on my PSP!!
Finally, I ordered a 8gb msd card off newegg b/c I realized that the 2gb one I was going to share with my digital camera is simply not going to be large enough!
This thing is awesome!
A Pissed-off English Gamer @ May 27th 2008 6:59AM
Don't start thinking that's what Sony wants to be done with it.
Yourself @ May 27th 2008 12:18AM
Though I'm sure it was delicious... that icing looks like liquid soap.
fawazr @ May 27th 2008 7:38AM
... or elf jissom.
driven2sin @ May 27th 2008 12:37AM
and what flavor is slate gray?
Chris @ May 27th 2008 12:46AM
It looks like they're in plastic wrap? And if so, that makes them much less appealing. If that's not plastic wrap, there's something wrong there. o.o
I just beat Ridley (again) in Metroid Prime. Man, that second stage is annoying... when he's on the ground, charging and whipping his tail at you? Argh. Glad that's over... Again.
Deck @ May 27th 2008 1:03AM
I played a lot of the Penny Arcade game on XBLA.
Also have been playing Jeanne D'Arc on PSP, and loving it.
Though those cupcakes... aren't looking so hot.
Jhongerkong @ May 27th 2008 1:21AM
Well, im in Canada, so ill just imagine that its Jhongerkong day today. Its a joyous holiday where you play nothing but Tetris Attack all day long.
Ben @ May 27th 2008 1:49AM
Play? I spent all day working on my LAST ACADEMIC PAPER to earn my bachelor's degree. I'll play next week though...
Oh, yes... After four and a half years, I will play...
Jonah Falcon @ May 27th 2008 2:00AM
Actually, that brown and green reminds me of something less appetizing...
chez @ May 27th 2008 2:25AM
Next gen graphics?
jorojoserojas @ May 27th 2008 2:11AM
I'm playing through Metal Gear Solid 3 in anticipation of MGS4. That consumed a good 4 hours or so.
Also, I got in some Boom Blox, Mario Party 8, and Mario Kart Wii when some friends came over...
...I'm never able to convince them into some Smash Bros, though. :(
chez @ May 27th 2008 2:26AM
Didn't really play much, probably got an hour on Mario Kart Wii.
Yourself @ May 27th 2008 3:05AM
Played maybe 3 hours of FFXII, 3 hours of KOTOR, and an hour of a single boss in Odin Sphere. It's almost like I was trying to pick games that are more work than fun to make up for the day off.
WilsonGoneWild @ May 27th 2008 3:24AM
Burnout Paradise much of the afternoon. I really love that game!
luckybob2005 @ May 27th 2008 3:52AM
That cupcake look digusting, ofc it is supposed to represent Space Invaders so that might be the point.
Ernie @ May 27th 2008 4:02AM
For me it was all about Valkyria. Played that all day and got pretty far. Then at night some good ol CoD4 for the soul. Just finished now :)
Noshino @ May 27th 2008 4:15AM
I had to work, so all I could play was N+ in between meetings...
gamerprophet @ May 27th 2008 4:15AM
I dusted off Thief Deadly Shadows and popped her in my Elite and played that for a couple of missions.
BPM [MKWii: 2578 3585 8392] @ May 27th 2008 5:49AM
Hey, my Joystiq friends. I'm leaving for a weeklong vacation later today (Tuesday) to Louisiana. Visiting family and the like (first time I left AZ in over three years =_=;). Probably won't have Internets while over there, so I won't be able to play/chat with you guys until next week.
So, smell ya later!
[writes something on a roadsign: "BPM was here, Fernando is a loser"]
Anticrawl @ May 27th 2008 5:57AM
Haha, if you are coming to New Orleans stay off the interstate... or roads in general. People are insane drivers there. Louisian, fun place to visit but don't drink the water or live here.
BPM [MKWii: 2578 3585 8392] @ May 27th 2008 6:06AM
Like I said, I have family there (to be specific, they live in Luling, a small town near New Orleans). I know how it is. :)
In fact, my grandpa is one of those crazy drivers. I swear, every time I'm in the car with him, I feel like I'M gonna have a heart attack...
And to think, he's NEVER been in an auto collision his entire life...
Anticrawl @ May 27th 2008 6:28AM
Yeah everyone is overly aggressive with their two ton death machines. I know /of/ Luling, my lady is from uptown New Orleans, live outside LSU though.
Kye - Ludwig Defence Force @ May 27th 2008 6:34AM
Not been at home since Sunday and won't be back till Wednesday so my gaming has fallen behind. (Not that I play everyday anway)
Will be back on M.Kart Wii when I get home.
The Bank Holiday was too rainy :(
le screech! @ May 27th 2008 12:37PM
O god, those looks disgustingly similar to my dogs poo. Yeah, he's on a raw diet so his scat ain't pretty, just like those turdcakes. Kudos on the spaceinvaders though
Ian Murray @ May 27th 2008 12:52PM
The tiny flecks of whatever-that-is in the icing simply put it over the edge for "possibly made out of inedible materials".
RobLink (Return of the McElroy Defence Force) @ May 27th 2008 6:04PM
I, like many in the UK, played Rock Band all weekend as it's shiny and new over here. Also, it's freakin' awesome. I'm glad I'm finally able to know that through gameplay rather than hearsay.
ZeroCorpse @ May 27th 2008 8:05PM
Dude! Someone sneezed on your cupcakes!
