It seems that you residents of Europe itching to go on an exotic wildlife safari will either have to import a copy of the PlayStation 3's Afrika, or have someone push you through the downtown supermarket on a trolley. And hey, if you have extra money lion around, you could pay a visit to the real Africa (the one with a "c") and snap some pics of those really tall horses.
Speaking to Eurogamer, Sony has declared that its plans to publish the nebulous Afrika in Europe are currently non-existent. It was confirmed that the game would still be coming out in Japan, however, with zebra new teaser website promising something "soon." We'll keep our ears to the ground, listening for that stampede of information.

It's one of those games like Endless Ocean which doesn't really appeal to most people I'd label as gamers, but it does appeal to others who are interested in gaming but don't really get the same enjoyment that I do by virtually shotgunning someone in the face.
My wife is one of those people. She'll play GTA and really enjoy it, but won't do any missions where she has to shoot people. She likes driving, finding the jumps, shopping for guns and clothes, going on dates, and finds the story interesting... Just not the shooting. So every so often she'll call out from the game room: "Lars, I need to you kill someone for me!"

Nope, this game is trying to avoid the aids epidemic. But don't worry, once this engine is tested and proven, it will be put to good use in the upcoming Genecide: Sudan Edition. I can't wait to see the SixAxiS support...

Shouldn't it be subtitled "Life of Ludwig"?

I'm not so sure this is news. If I'm not mistaken, Sony never commited to publishing this one outside of Japan. And said so early on. In fact, they never classified this as a game.
It's kinda like Xbox NUDE

Looks like a "live action" Pokemon snap kind of game. I can understand why they wouldn't sell it in Europe - it would be a pretty boring game. Much like Pokemon snap.

They're keeping it away from Europe since they effed it up the last time they were there!
