Guitar Hero: On Tour's disturbing demo video

Good news: There's a video that demonstrates what the gameplay for Guitar Hero: On Tour is going to be like on the Nintendo DS. Bad news: The video is painful to watch. Like, cringe inducing to the point that you may break your neck as your head tries to bury itself into your body.

We don't know if this video was even officially released; as of this writing, the versions on both GameVideos and GameTrailers were user submitted. We checked with contacts at both sites but, to the best of our knowledge, Activision didn't send this out in any official capacity (after watching, it's pretty easy to guess why).

Yeah, this video is the most awesome thing I've seen all day, and I just watched that half naked girl doing the hula-hoop on Wii fit.

This should definitely be their official ad, and that singing dude should be an in-game character that I could do battle against.

But I don't like the thing being strapped to my hand. What if someone tosses me something? Could be a disaster...unlike the video, which is a complete triumph.

You should only be able to battle against him if he actually complains and taunts you during the fight like in the video. If I send him a fire attack I fully expect my DS' speakers to yell back at me "HEY THAT WASN'T REALLY FAIR". If not, it just won't be the same.
