DS Fanswag: The swarm

It's getting warm outside, and you know what that means -- the bugs are coming. Thanks to DS Fanboy, however, you can enjoy the oncoming swarm, with an insect-themed two-pack of free games. We're offering up Drone Tactics ($29.99) and Insecticide ($29.99) to one lucky reader, and all you have to do is leave a comment below telling us which one interests you more.

The contest will run through Friday, June 6; that night, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern, entries will close, and we'll choose one winner in a random drawing. Sweet...Drone Tactics for sure. Looks like an interesting RTS with some swell character design. Swell??? Yeah, I'm so bringing that word back.

Normally, I'd say Insecticide, but after reading reviews here, y'all have me believing that I'll prefer Drone Tactics. Guess I'll have to just win this giveaway to find out.

Definitely Drone Tactics. Advance Wars: Days of Ruin was my first strategy game and it hooked me.

My wife just bought me a ds yesterday along with phoenix wright ace attorney. I have to say this is a great little system, drone tactics looked very interesting when I was at the store yesterday . Some RTS action on the go would really hit the spot when I'm out travelling for work.

Drone tactics interests me slightly more because I love SRPGs. But insecticide is not without my desire and longing for the narratives and new ideas of gaming's golden age.

Insecticide.... bug noir is my cuppa.

I am not much of a strategist, and since I'm more of an adventurist, Incecticide interests me.

Drone Tactics interests me because I like strategy games on the DS, and Atlus makes great games!

I'm going to have to say Drone Tactics is interesting me more, and I'm not sure why...just seems like it could be fun :)

Drone Tactics. When I bought my DS my first 2 games were MarioKart and Advance Wars. 3 months later I had still only played 1 lap of MarioKart. Since beating it I was feverishly awaiting Days of Ruin. Now I need something new for my tactics fix. Basically my DS case is like the little black case Vincent Vega carries in Pulp Fiction....

Tough call . . . . insecticide had the hype at first, then really not great reviews . . . .so . . .. . yeah

I am a strategy whore, so drone tactics.

Well I've been killing alot of bugs lately so the Drone Tactics game will give me lots of motovation and ideals. (evil grin)

Totally Insecticide even though reviews have not been stellar :(

While I don't really have much use for yet another 3D platformer with awkward controls, I could go for some bug-flavored SRPG-lite.

Drone Tactics for sure. I love a good RTS and controlling large mecha insects is my second favorite pastime behind adventures as a space marine battling hostile alien beings.

Insecticide, because I really don't want to believe the reviews. It could have been so much more (I assume, having not played it).

Drone Tactics. Mecha-bugs in a turn-based-strategy wrapper. Enough said.

Insecticide because I have been wanting it for some time but can never find it in the stores.

Nothing but Drone Tactics for a turn-based strategy addict like me!

It's got drones. And they are tactical.

I'd have to say that Drone Tactics interests me more. I've played most of the LucasArts adventure games from the days of yore, but I think I've just read too much negative about Insecticide.

Drone Tactics, Strategy game + Giant bugs of doom = hours of fun. It's simple math really!

Drone Tactics looks more fun.

As much as I love a great tactical game, I think Insecticide has me more intrigued. It seems to have more style.

I am quite fascinated by the noir feel of Insecticide, but Drone Tactics surpasses that with the mechanical mantis. Really, can anything beat that?

Drone Tactics for sure. It looks like Advance Wars but with bugs! I wish I could stage a backyard war with real bugs but they don't like me and I'm deathly afraid of them.

Insecticide, although, Drone Tactics is an Atlus game...

I'm more interested in Insecticide, because I'm not good at strategy games.

Drone Tactics. It would be a nice time-waster until FFTA2 gets here.
