Fatal Inertia demo available now on the Japanese PSN Store

Can you report here? I'm just curious to know if it was all talk or what.

OK lets start off by saying this;

The control is 100% improved. Your craft no longer is allowed to turn completely around while the camera faces forward.

Graphically the PS3 version looks and runs smoothly, though its hard to make a direct comparison since the track used in the 360 demo is extremely small in comparison to the PS3 tracks.

The PS3 tracks look rather bland in general but thats more a statement of artistic design than technical ability.

I came away from the demos seeing a LOT of improvement in control and craft handling which, if your mildly interested in this game, should come as a comfort.

Would I buy it? Nah, I'm going to hold out for WOHD. But I will say it looks like they did well with the port.

Good to know that they actually DID improve it, then. I tried it out, didn't mind it. I don't know if it's disabled in the demo or just the tutorial levels, since I didn't play for long, but I wasn't able to use the SIXAXIS to steer.. Kinda disappointing.

Not to be rude or anything, but what tutorial level in ANY game is not boring? You should at least check out the normal gameplay one you've learned the ropes.

yeh i got one for doing a roll, i think it might have something to do with the new 2d trophies

that's all good, except WipeoutHD is likely to be a SPECTACULAR alternative to Fatal Inertia

So....given the chance to freely decide for yourself, you're going to let someone else do the thinking for you?
