Free DS Wi-Fi no more at McDonald's
Hey, remember when McDonald's and Nintendo teamed up to offer free Wi-Fi access for Nintendo DS players? No? Really? We thought it was kinda cool. Anyway, they're not doing it anymore, so just forget it.
The contract between Nintendo and Wayport -- the internet provider for McDonald's in North America -- actually came to an end late last year, though the termination of the agreement wasn't made well known. Well, now you know. DS-playing Mickey D's lovers can still get their fast food game on using a laptop and Nintendo's Wi-Fi dongle. Or, you know, not.

It's probably cause of money and mcdonald's not wanting to pay something. Trust me I had to work there a little over a year ago and they don't want to pay for shit despite raking in ridiculous amounts of money every day.

It's probably because nobody wants to play games on their DS around greasy ass food.
On a side note, the McDonald's down the street from my house still had the N64 units set up in them.

Do you live near the harbor here in baltimore? Becuase the Mc Donald's nearby the subway station still has N64 units set up as well.

Only a jackass would sit around in a MacDonalds for hours on end to play the DS online. Sure when I travel my girlfriend loves coffee so there are plenty of free hot spots on the way of our random ass road trips.

Theres no free hotspots in tokyo ever. It sucks. Mac was my only hope when i first moved here, but all the hotspots in every coffee shop require some form of memebership fee. :-(

Huh...that's interesting. You'd think they'd be ahead of the curve on that end. You'd think they'd invent the Supernet by now and get it over with - A giant dome of internet that covers the sun.
