Today's Amazon Gold Box deal: Crisis Core for $26
12
After enjoying Amazon's Xbox 360 deals yesterday, it is with much dismay that we report the online retailer is throwing yet another wallet-busting offer our way, this time for our oft-neglected Sony PSP. The very awesome (if you don't believe us, ask the podcast) Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is today's Gold Box deal, down from $40 to $26. Unlike yesterday's lightning deals, though, you have all day to order a copy. If tomorrow brings another video game bundle, we may very well go broke. Oh, Amazon, why do you curse our bank accounts so!

Like many of the reviews say, this is a great game with nostalga out the wazoo. I would definitely recommend getting it at this price (or any price for that matter). Just dont expect it to have much replay value. Its like 12-15 hrs straight thru, and maybe 25-30 if you do all the missions (most of them being quite mindless).

The game on its own is very good but I will be honest coming from just playing God of War to FF Crisis Core it is very slow building and at times the dialogue is pretty weak but its typical FF story line. It is one of the best games on the PSP its just not for everyone.

I definately recommend the game, and I didn't even enjoy FFVII on the Playstation all that much.

Damn, that's quite the deal. I'm surprised it's going on all day...
Too bad I lost my job a few weeks ago, and I don't have a PSP to play it on in the first place.

Great! Now more people can experience the joy of mashing the attack button a thousand times, then casting Cure, then mashing the attack button a thousand more times.
I thought this was the worst combat system Squeenix ever designed until I played TWEWY.
