However it all works, we're definitely intrigued. If the voice commands really do work as well as they appear to in this video, Ubisoft may have found a solution to the console RTS problem after all.

I believe it has 2 separate buttons, i think its right trigger to command units, left trigger to talk to teammates.

I think you have to hold a button to "open" your mic channel. I cant confirm, but it sounds logical.

Most likely there will be an option to press a button to make a voice command, or have it where you can press no button at all. I don't know how multiplayer will turn out though. Most likely you won't hear your enemies:P

Wow looks like it actually works, that amazing. Looks really fluid and easy to control from that demo, can't wait to get my hands on it to give it a real try.
Oh, and I'm assuming that the unit numbers are assigned before the actual battle, like in ground control where you split your 12 units into 3 dropships.

This game is turning out to be looking pretty good, when I first saw the video that came with rainbow six vegas 2 it was looking pretty dull, but i think that they added a lot more detail since the last build. this is definitly on my radar now, although a demo will still be nice.

This game is gonna be one of the best to be released this year. You can make an rts and have it focused on the actual units, but the detail put into the scenery is amazing.
You can see on the screen that the units receive labels once they are deployed. The strategic points to be captured are already listed when you start. You can also point the crosshairs on ANYTHING and label it.
The most important thing about this game is the multiplayer. When you sign in, you're fighting the war. Your win or loss decides where the next fight will be for every player online. Its the real war and every players decision affects the next game.
