I thought demos were supposed to lure in people who weren't already planning to buy the game? What's the point of a demo only for those who pre-order the game?

I preordered BF: Bad Badcompany last week but didn't get my code and all of my friends did, I only have 1 game cuz i sold all the rest and the one that i have has a crack in it so it barely works. If u would give me a code i would appreciate it.
