Great interview. I'm hoping to hear from more developers on that whole XBLA delisting thing.

they shouldnt delist... they should make a discount yard... i mean seriously... retailers drop the price on games that dont sell... And then they have platinum edition games for $20... And all this time XBLA games never get discounted... or they get discounted for like a week...

delisting is stupid... doesnt give anyone a chance to sell at a cheaper level... it just says, okay you sucked, youre done... peace out...

think it over M$... i would love to buy some games at half price or some shit...

Loved Mad Tracks... Look forward to seeing more of Things on Wheels.

Just for the record though, I don't see the hesitancy in the Wii's online games platform (WiiWare). If every viable outlet is important then why not the Wii's? Just wondering...

Mad Tracks is one of those games I wanted to buy before it came out, but the demo didn't help me much. Is it better than the demo? Are there other game modes to try?

Geoff,
Thanks for your comment.
Bouncing back on what you say, there is nothing wrong with Wiiware.
We think games for Wii should be made for it's specific controlers thus made on different types of gameplay - but that's just us, a lot of publishers port 'regular' games as is.
Cheers!

Hi there. I'm Guillaume, a dev at Load Inc.

PeacefulOutrage : yes there are many other gameplays. Half of mad tracks is racing, the other half is party games. And almost all have there own type (foosball, pool, get the most items, ...).

Game looks pretty fun. I was a fan of Mad Tracks when it hit LIVE, TOW looks like one of those insta-buys so far.

I definitely agree on this whole delisting thing as well. They should just discount them. A lot are great titles that no one even bothered to look at (Geon: Emotions especially!). Really though, Microsoft needs a total overhaul of the marketplace (and dashboard / guide in general). Maybe people would actually buy these gems if the commerce interface wasn't a convoluted mess?
