The people of cheapassgamer work hard, use great connections, risk their jobs and even lawsuits, and share bargains they find while shopping and all they ask for is one thing. To obtain the benefits of the community, become a member of the community. And you decide to "help out" people here who cannot sacrifice the two minutes it takes to register so they can see how many offers, deals, and clearance threads there are.

Actually, it IS insider info. It's often Gamespot/Walmart/Best Buy, etc employees leaking these lists on there. There HAS been people who have been fired from their jobs FOR sharing this info. But that's besides the point.
The point is, to obtain lists from CheapAssGamer and the benefits of the forums themselves, you should have to JOIN the site. Read this news article itself...

It's free registration, takes less less than two minutes and most importantly, offers up hits to the website which Cheapy D then uses those stats to try and secure exclusive deals and bargains. Occasional hints like the leaks price drop stories are cool, no big deal.
But to directly post an entire list that several forum members spent DAYS compiling (and and incomplete list at that) is essentially pissing on the community.
Besides, Wii60, you just take a contrary view to anythign I say regardless.

Anyway, I believe EVERY part of the internet should be free and open. You can't have a website claim to be trying to help everyone stick it to the big stores by saving everyone money, and then being selfish and trying to get people to only get the info from their site. You're right, the information was provided by MEMBERS, not CheapyD himself. This same information could have been posted in a free newsgroup of ANY OTHER blog or free site. I just don't understand why CAG should require anyone to give out their personal information to read something that should be for all the internet, regardless of who owns the site. So, no, I don't feel a requirement to be loyal to ONE MAN who just happens to own a site, rather than being loyal to all members of the gaming community who don't get paid for this info. If you feel differently, then we'll just have to agree to disagree.

Well, I'll agree to disagree, fwacce, but I should take this moment to mention this fact. Many of those days are based on individual store stock and many stores are having store specific bargains. On top of that, this is a VERY partial list which according to many reports, represents roughly 30% of the total deals so people really should join CAG.
But I also wasn't lumping you in with Wii60Warrior. To me, burning down your house, raping your family and livestock, and proceeding to inflict voodoo curses upon your person would still be a much nicer insult than lumping you in with Wii60Warrior. There are some things you just don't do and drawing parallels between anyone and the hardcore tardcore is one of those lines. ;p

Buy it. I paid $20, and it's worth more than that. When you hit the Virtua Cop stage, you'll know that it's money well spent. Really, everyone is saying it's crap, but that's because every thinks Sega sucks. They don't. This game and Virtua Tennis 3 are fantastic, and I wouldn't have them any other way.
Don't buy F.E.A.R. though, that game sucked out loud. I don't care what scores it got, it was terrible.

You are an idiot...the GameDays games from last year went used well AFTER the sale had ended. This year, GameStop won't be gutting EVERYTHING like they did last year. There will be some still plastic wrapped in the drawers to sell first. Only 3-4 will be opened and in the bins. Get there early to have a shot at an unopened one...even though its the same damn thing, you just don't have any plastic wrap to throw away...

I've been seeing a lot of "new" games get sold as used. I recently heard (through CAG) that they were selling a huge lot of Metal Slug Anthology games, which WERE new, but got gutted and tagged as used for some reason.
It wouldn't surprise me if GS Corporate told the stores to do that. They're slimeballs through and through.

Why is it so hard to grasp that it's House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return, and not 1 & 2? Every site I've seen advertising this sale has 1&2, not 2&3. Now if it were 1 & 4, I'd be in, but otherwise, I bought the game. I'm definately getting Viking, and for those who haven't played it, get Sega Superstars Tennis. It's a lot of fun.
