Jimmy Buffet pretty much encompasses everything that is wrong with music. I would pay to keep those songs OFF of Live.

Now, if he recorded AIDsburger in Paradise, I would buy it.

A self-made singer/songwriter who lives a life any one of us can only dream of represents what is wrong with music?

I myself would have opted more for Fallout Boy or Ludo...

You know, I sure as hell didn't buy any Fallout Boy RB tracks, and you won't buy any Buffett tracks. I don't see anything wrong with that at all.

Well, I like Disturbed just fine. No idea who Jimmy Buffet is, though. Frankly, people who don't like Disturbed can stop whining: you're not forced to buy it if you don't like it, after all. And I don't go around saying how crappy your cherished bands and albums are... Unless your favorite song is Never Gonna Give You Up. That's just... twisted, or something. Maybe it's because I like almost all music instead of just metal? Nah, that's not even true.

Anyway, dunno if I'll buy the album in full, I just don't like Perfect Insanity all that much (and it's technically a freebie, too), but I will most definitely be getting Indestructible for Rock Band and I'll get Inside the Fire IF and only if the laugh is included in the track. Otherwise, no thanks. If Down with the Sickness is not released for Rock Band, I may well cry. It's been known to happen.

Ugg Disturbed is this really what gets the masses excited these days?

People open up your minds and ears, there is so much better music out there just stop listening to the radio. This group is one mass produced rock clitche after another.

Honestly there is better music out there

Disturbed? Cool. Jimmy Buffet? WTF? Cuz he's the first thing I think of when I think Rock Band...Karaoke Revolution? Sure, but Rock Band? Come on now. And people have the nerve to say Guitar Hero has crap set lists..

These comments make me realize how much I loathe music snobs. "You like Band X? BLEEEEEEEECH! Get better taste in music!" Personally, I don't enjoy the bulk of the music that's been released as DLC so far, but I don't rag on anyone who gets excited over it. For example, I don't care if they have Devo or Danny DeVito on the DLC plate and yet I won't bitch about it.

Your taste in music does not make you special or better than anyone else. It *does* make you a massive douche nozzle if it makes you feel superior though.

More on topic, Best Buy had a promotion that gave you two or three codes to download the Disturbed songs in Rock Band if you pre-ordered. I believe the pre-order was only $10 and you might still be able to do it if anyone's looking to buy both the album and the DLC.

Nothing makes me more ashamed of being white than Jimmy Buffet. Well, there was that whole slavery thing, but that was 150 years ago. White people going crayzee when Cheeseburger in Paradise comes on the jukebox is real to me NOW. I just don't get it.

Although I am a gamer who is in the twilight of their career (I'm not spring chicken at 27 years of age), I'm enthusiastic about some Jimmy Buffett tunes on Rock Band, unfortunately the selection is somewhat mediocre.

Boat Drinks is one of Buffett's faster, more spirited songs, and it definitely should have made the cut...and no "Son Of A Son Of A Sailor"!? Son of a son of a bitch! I bet you Eddie Money gets better songs on there.

I would pay $5 just to do the vocals on Margaritaville if it was the duet version performed by Steve Austin and Dwayne Johnson.

I like how we get Jimmy Buffett and Disturbed, yet no Tool, or New radiohead, or Modest Mouse, or old system of a down, or Muse or anything like that (maybe a bit of Death Cab for Cutie? =/ )
I mean, I would understand if they were scrapping the bottom of the barrel here, but there's so many good popular bands out there that would be perfect for RB

Like him or hate him, Jimmy Buffett is massively popular. Margaritaville and Cheeseburger in Paradise are also massively popular. Here's a thought: other people like different things from you, and in order for your beloved game to flourish, it needs to make money, selling popular things to people. There more people the game can appeal to, the better it will do, the more songs you'll get, the happier you'll be. In fact, I would go as far as saying that you should be thankful there are songs on there that you don't like because that's one more demographic that might become interested in the game.

I don't like the Police, but my friend was convinced to get Guitar Hero 2 because of Message in a Bottle. And we were BOTH happy, which is a better situation than me sitting on my pedestal saying how much I like this game yet snubbing him for his "poor" taste in music. Grow up people.

Disturbed kicks ass, can't wait for these tracks!! I even pre-ordered the CD and got two for free so that's pretty sweet. It's nice to see some harder stuff making it on the track list. I'm a drummer and a metal head and have been waiting for this stuff. Some Godsmack would be nice but I won't hold my breath for Lamb of God...
