Rumor: In-game XMB and BioShock trophies caught on video

More rumors regarding the long-awaiting, promised in-game XMB for the PlayStation 3. A member of the Max Console forums has posted a handful of images and videos what is reportedly the XMB working during BioShock, as well as trophies for the game. We've embedded one of the videos after the break. While certainly more convincing than some of the mockups we've seen (think: MS paint), we still remain skeptical.

I want to enjoy my games the way I want to, not the way some twisted developer wants me to. I know they're purely optional, but the temptation will be too great for some people to resist.

I found that achievements helped me get rid of my addiction to using cheat codes. I haven't used a single one while playing GTA4 so far, eventually on a 2nd play through I will cheat to have some fun.

Addiction to gamerscore is more productive than cheating IMO.

Problem as I see it is that he's a person and the PS3 is a machine. Him busting on it is an annoyance to you, but doesn't stop you from using and enjoying it. You calling him names is more than an annoyance.

Personally attacking him as a failure in life is entirely uncool when he doesn't say such thngs about other people. I see people like Name123 who call people names, swear and are filled with hate for all others, I don't see that in Fernando.

I have no problem with what he posts and where he does it. However if hes going to be a one beat drummer and criticize the same thing over in troll like fashion then hes going to have to take the heat when dished back. Is he being mindful to the developers that are putting in thousands of hours into these games? No, he wants them and their games to fail because they are not on his chosen consoles. That's about as bad a fanboy as there can be.

His hate for Sony doesn't seem the same as contempt for people in my book. Yeah, I don't share his ill will for some consoles, and it makes no sense to me, but he's an alright guy from my experience, who shys away from calling anyone 4 letter words and the like - in fact, he seems to limit himself from talking about people as a whole doesn't he? Hell, he doesn't even get as mad as I do when some of these people start calling others names and such.

Nato, i dont think when people use curse words it means they are foaming at the mouth pounding on the keyboards when typing a response. I dont think people should abuse other people on this board or any other board for that matter....however,

i feel he gets his kicks off of it. Its definitely a pattern forming with his posts especially on PS3 threads. I wouldnt know him as a "good guy" (thought he was a 14 year old) because i dont look at threads that dont pertain to my interest. PS3 pertains to my interest 90% of the time, and if that article is positive or negative, i have noticed he is there to give his agenda. He has that right tho.

The point i think you are missing, is that it often can ruin a discussion or gathering of opinions when he comes with the same ole bullshit. It gets some people riled up because its a continuous thing, its even expected now. Then the topic, like this thread turns to him and is unreadable. Again, i think he gets a kick out of riling some people up. Its his right to do it, but dont mask it with, well its not people its a product hes talking about. People invest time, money and their lives into gaming, and i think some people take his constant troll like behavior as a slap at them.....well all im saying is they have the right to slap back then.

This is just what im noticing in my short time on this website.

I understand what you're saying but what I don't get is how you guys expect people to react to him.

Sometimes it feels like Fernando is the annoying child of someone you know. You have to keep your mouth shut while the kid runs a muck. And it seems like the people on here that have a sweet spot for him expect those of us that don't to just smile and look the other way.

So how to deal with Fernando...There is no ignore feature here so that's out. You can't avoid his comments because they're everywhere. There usually is no rational or logical response to most of his trolling so trying to have a discussion with him is pointless. If he hasn't been permanently banned by now he's never going to be. So my question to you is how should we deal with his never ending nonsense?

And please don't say ignore him cause we both know that will never happen.

I didn't see a lot of ubber pro-Sony people jump in to tell Krazy Ken to shut up or die when he would launch copy/paste tirades in every post on the 360 and Wii – nonstop. He was maddening with that crap, and yet he would get up voted when we would tell him to relax with it. He would say nasty personal crap about me and others and get upvoted. He would do something like post blu-ray specs in a Gears of War story and would get upvoted. So, when you talk about how Fernando deserves it for his comments – I see it as a bit slanted.

There is a limit, such as when Name123 talked about placing us in concentration camps and such.

Yup and some people choose to deal with it by tearing into him. They then have to hear it from Fernando Defenders about how they're wrong, but these defenders never offer any solution to the problem either. They just derail the thread further.

Works both ways. Fernando defenders always lean towards consoles other than Sony because they aren't the ones being annoyed by his antics.

If that's too hard, then how about you try coming at him with logic? Flamebait fanboy comments can usually be shut down pretty quickly with logic; on the other hand personal attacks drag things out and ultimately make the person making said attacks look like MORE of a dick than the original troll (since the original troll wasn't making personal attacks, and in the case of Fernando afaik doesn't resort to them even when the SDF begins cutting him down.

I hope you understand that those of us who are defending Fernando aren't necessarily fans of his; we're just not cruel enough to think that personal attacks are justified no matter how much he insults the inanimate objects that you're a fan of.
