I don't mind that being downvoted, even though it was purely a joke and I have no opinion of Wii Fit... but I could've sworn I did *not* have the first comment earlier.
What is this, some kind of dubious award?

Sad thing is that WiiFit may have been a neat idea to talk about before it came out, but now that its out - there really isn't too much to say about it. Not like we would all talk about our yoga scores or something. Conversation wise - this games not doing it.

But... but... the peripheral! It's almost as promising as an e-reader and a Virtual boy combined.
:)
Martez @ May 30th 2008 2:52PM
Leave the Virtual Boy alone. Red Alarm fucking rocked.
Ridgecity @ May 30th 2008 2:50PM
Hey Nintendo! recall this product you have! dark_inchworm doesn't like it! get him a game featuring Yoshi or something!

Watching people hula hoop is hilarious after a long day of grilling and swilling.

we bough this on day 1 of the launch. 1 complaint against this is that we have a TV room which is carpeted. So when you try to weigh yourself the 1st time it shows wrong weight. Next day it shows another weight. Hope nintendo fixes this ASAP or its going to piss a lot of people who have carpeted floors in your TV room
SoulBlade @ May 30th 2008 2:25PM
Are you using the stand or extension legs or whatever? There's some recommendations out there for people w/ carpets.
Scott @ May 30th 2008 2:37PM
The same thing happens from real scales on cushy carpets.
Ridgecity @ May 30th 2008 2:43PM
have you look inside the box and added the carpet extension included? read the manual first... lol, kids these days...

Gonna try the Wii Fit out these weekend at the in-laws house. Will I buy it? Probably not. My studio is so cramed full of shit I'd get a workout just from making room for it.
Vince UK @ May 30th 2008 7:09PM
Is a 'studio' a flat/apartment? or do you live in a studio?
playwhutyalike @ May 30th 2008 8:36PM
I own a house. My studio is actually my computer room with all my music equipment in it connected to said computer plus my flat panel and 360/Wii.
Quite the fucking mess in here.
