HAWX gets voice control options

Not to be outdone by EndWar's fancy gesture controls, Tom Clancy's HAWX will feature a voice control option, allowing you to squawk commands to your squad mid-dogfight.

Eurogamer learned of the feature during UbiDays, but was unable to get further clarification. According to Eurogamer, an Ubisoft representative also discussed the game's two-player cooperative mode, with a promise of more multiplayer details as the holiday 2008 release approaches. This is where we'd make Top Gun references if we knew any.

I've seen video of HAWX... It defintely looks like Clancy got a hold of Ace Combat 6 and added "realism." Although, said realism is really frickin annoying with the constantly sounding hyper-annoying alarms and monotone female voice warnings of incoming.

The first joke yesterday was a reference to a minority report picture they used for an endwar article, this one is trying to reference topgun. Both of these films featured Tom Cruise, so they used the same joke ;)

After EndWar fails at retail you can make a joke about "We hope this time the voice control scheme doesn't crash and burn."

or

"With the online co-op you can let your friends be your wingman......anytime."

Also, congrats to me for just creating what has to be one of the more lame online jokes I've ever made.
