Disturbed and Jimmy Buffett Rock Band DLC release to the XBLM

Ever since last Friday, when Harmonix announced this week's new Rock Band downloadable content, we know you've been frothing from the mouth in excitement. The thought of playing Jimmy Buffett's "Cheeseburger in Paradise", "Margaritaville" and "Volcano" has taken control of your mind to an almost obsessive state. We know you've been anticipating the Buffett, because you love the Buffet and we want you to know that's okay. Also, on top of all the Buffett excitement, we're also being treated to brand new Disturbed DLC from their latest "Indestructible" release, and at only 80 Microsoft points per track, you can't go wrong. Sorry Gemini, there's going to be one dead kitten when I get through with this DLC. How can you not like Margaritaville? It's like, one of the greatest songs of all time!

That makes 2 kittens. Buffet f'n rocks. Volcano is a blast to play on the drums. I'll hit up Disturbed after work.

I don't see the point in putting down other people because they enjoy a different type of music.

It just doesn't belong in a game called Rock Band. That's my whole point. Like it all you want. I can't help you have bad taste! lol!

If the wife says go, thats 3 kitty cats. I'm not the biggest buffet fan, but any song i already know the words to = fun on RB, and if it makes the wife want to play some more, than its worth some points I probably got for free with some other purchase.

So you try to bring down others for liking good music (although bad in your opinion) like Jimmy Buffet, but than you WANT Ice Ice Baby? I'm not being like you and just bringing you down for liking a song, but Ice Ice Baby? Who the hell wants one of the worst rap/hip hop (whatever it is) songs ever created? Even Vanilla Ice himself doesn't like that song.

Even for 80 MS POints each, I wouldn't touch anything associated to Disturbed.

Harmonix could release the Sesame Street theme for 80 points and I'd buy it. Sometimes songs you despise turn out to be great RB songs. I'm lookin' at you, Roam and Crushcrushcrush.

If they're putting more B-52s, Rock Lobster or Private Idaho need to be there...

Pink Floyd would be something i would buy all day long on rock band and If you listen to the words of Volcano on the rock band version it says i just want to be a couch potato and play rock band all day. How funny is that.

Still nothing from Best Buy. They are supposed to be sent out today. I went ahead and just bought the 3 pack for 240 points. I'll give the codes to a friend if and when they arrive.

Hazy Cloud had you entered that code yet? I used it an it worked. Thanks for the code man! The 5X5 one worked, but when I tried the 6 digit one on the website, it just said "Here is your code." and there was a blank area. Anyways, thanks again for the code Hazy Cloud.

The Jimmy Buffett pack is very cool. Just got home form work and gave it a go.
Margaritaville = Fun nostalgia
Volcano = Fun song
Cheeseburger = Best of these 3 for the Rock Band experience.

Biggest complaint (and I mean BIG), they didn't use the Feeding Frenzy versions!!1! For those non-Parrot Heads out there - that would be they didn't use the live versions. I mean WTF? Rock Band is a live setting - why not the LIVE version? Not just for these either - I think there should be more live versions available. Esp. the "classics"

For those who did get their codes so far, what songs do you get? Can you choose, or is it two specific songs? I remember the websites being kind of non-specific. A best buy rep told me I would get inside the fire and indestructible. The problem is, since so many abused the system, a lot of us didn't get our codes, and it will take up to a week to get them. So now I need to know what songs I will get because if I wait for a week the third song will no longer be 80 points.

I downloaded the track pack today with the code. I can confirm the code gets you Indestructible and Inside the Fire. Perfect Insanity is the one you are going to want to pay for and download if you want all three.
