Following the generous upgrades given to Team Fortress 2 Medics earlier this year, it now appears that the Pyro class is next to be doused in flame-retardant achievements and fiery, unlockable weapons. Citing the latest issue of PC Gamer, CVG also reports that Valve plans similar additions for the game's remaining classes, though the timing of these future updates has not yet been revealed.
Likewise a mystery is what Pyro players can expect from the new achievement-fueled equipment roll out, though we expect it to mirror what was given to Medics, only with less healing and more toasting anything that moves.

Demo is where it's at. If they buff us when our content update comes around, it could be balance breaking.

Pyro=HAWT (literally)
That being said, me thinks scout and heavy or sniper will be next to get achievements. Rarely do I see useful scouts, and I'm judging the other two off my habits of being less often played.

An ignited Molotov cocktail? eh?
Also I would say some form of liquid that an either dose the player flame retardant or increase the range of the flame like in more of a steady straight line but at the cost of movement?

For me, the medic achievements are so difficult to get that I will likely never see those Medic unlockables. :(

I hope these upgrades come to the X360 version one day...
And I'll be waiting for the engeneer upgrades. I wish we could have some kind of spy alarm or a way to manually activate your sentry so you could kill spies even when they are disguised.

GrayFox got it right.. they need to release these character updates in pairs to prevent EVERYONE playing the same class like they did with the Medic.
Oh and they need to stop taking so long.. one/two month between roll outs.. not 6 months!!!

Ohk guys it's tmie to really think about what you are talking about when you post a comment like really sentry with a laser rofl(not likely). The Engineer class will most likely have upgrades for each of his three primary weapons, just like the medic. So in the engineers case you can expect upgrades for your wrench, pistol and shotgun, wich have nothing to do with new sentry guns. I think they could possibly update the wrench with faster building times or lower cost of metal to build sentrys dispensers ect. Now this being said the next updated class is going to be or beloved flame-throwing pyro. Vavle has commeneted that there will be significant changes to the class of pyro for everyone(not just people who get achievements). Now for the new weapons I am hoping for some added range to his arsenal as the pyro is fairly useless medium/far ranged. Something to counter the blutsauger would be nice as at the tip of the burn flame medics can steal as much hp as pyro's do damage and with there speed easily own any pyro.
