Call of Duty 4 reclaims Xbox Live top spot, double XP this weekend

I think it is funny how no one will ever agree when it comes to disputing MP first person shooters. It reminds me of the wars between Halo1 and Counter Strike. Its dumb, who cares if you are a H3 fan or a COD4 fan. I personally am COD4 and everyone can argue each side but it will never change someone. So just play and have fun, both games require skill that is all there is to it. If H3 didnt require skill then why does team "the final boss" and "Carbon" make a living from being ridiculously good at H3. So it does take skill but so does COD4, they may not have large tournaments with MLG but who cares. Bottom line is they are both good MP games and some like one more than the other. But for the one who said that H3 isnt about running and getting the best gun I do beg to differ. I dont know how it is with H3 but with H1 the people that were extremley good at it like ogre 1 and 2, Mighty, Technique, Kancer, CliffY, and many others all used timers to know when over shield rockets and camo would respawn so that they could control. Which is fine, the other fact is that everyone of them could snipe and 3 shot with a pistol like non other. COD4 is a totally different type of MP and is geared to a more realistic modern warfare theme.

Forgot to add that COD4 isnt about running for the best weapon... there is not best weapon it is all about personal preference. For myself I enjoy the M16 with double tap 3 frags and deep impact. But I have a variety of custom slots that I enjoy, and someone keeps brining up the perks martyrdom, juggernaut, and whatever else. If u knew anything about COD4 anyone that is good u will not see with those perks the other one I hate is Last Stand. The fact is in COD4 u are at least killed more realistically. In H3 u get moon jumped over and then stuck with a plasma. H3 is about aliens and life in the future... COD4 is modern so of course they are gonna be totally oppisite. So for whoever likes H3 then play H3 and whoever likes COD4 then play it!!!

I've read all the comments on the first page, and all I can say is that I used to play Halo 3 MP, but I got frustrated because of the ridiculous time it takes to kill someone. I agree entirely with x genral DEATH x and his comments and I feel excatly the same. COD4 is such as great game, just for the reason of prestige and all the weapons. I'm sorry to all Halo fans, but COD 4 owns it.

I think COD4 is a great game. The only thing I dont like about the online part is where sometimes these little kids sware and stuff, they sound so stupid. Anyway, I do really like the online call of duty 4. I thought the story mission feature should have been alot longer. But the missions I thought were very fun. I dont really like Halo online. It just seems so immature. I mean, your alien warriors and you shoot like dumb plasma guns and stupid stuff like that. I think COD4 has a great story line and an amazing onine feature. Go COD4

yes I agree with your comment. So many people argue which games are better. Well, if you like Halo then play it, and if you like COD play that. I personally think though that COD4 better because It is more realistic like you said, and you dont get shot with like plasma guns and stuff.

ye well im a 42 colonel grade 2 in halo 3 so you cant say that i cant talk dirt about it , i used to reallly like halo but the ranking system is terrible in it and if you dont get one of the good weapons and stick to your assault rifle your screwed , at least in cod you can choose exactly wat weapon to start with and there is no "best weapon" that you can just run around with killing absoloutly everyone with until it runs out of bullets personally my opinion is that halo sucks c*$! big time and everyone who says it is beter than cod has never even played the game
