I'm not very good at tech so all I understood of that was that you could control things other than the Wii with the Balance Board.

I'd like to see a moto racing game controlled by the board, lean forward to accelerate ;)

Or maybe a skating game with the board sideways. That would probably require a wiimote for extra controls.

FPS 2, as the Wii balance board has 4 button, we have a total of 16 combination on which those can be pressed, like for example, press up-left and up-right and is a forward move, or, up-left + up-right + down-right and is forward strafe right. That way you keep the turning action to the nunchuck and the aiming to the wiimote

This is something people want to be implemented on the Quake version of Wii

I want a shooter like the arcade game police 911, I was really hoping the ps2 eyetoy would have it but unfortunately disappointment was the only thing that came out of the eye toy.

You mean you never used it to scan yourself into Karaoke Revolution? Don't feel bad. I mainly use my Eyetoy as a webcam on my computer.

hey, i really enjoyed your article! ive had a balance board for a little while, and i really wanted to get into glovepie scripting with it, since i have been doing that with my wiimote and nunchucks for awhile... however, i'm not much of a scripter... today i finally got my balance board regonized by glovepie (had to uncheck the bluetooth fix option)... anyways, since I dont know too much about writing scripts, could you post some scripts, or maybe e-mail me some you've made? what i'd really like to get the balance board to do is act like an anolog input with ppjoy... also, using it has a gas pedal in racing games seems fun to, i'd also like to use it in snowboarding games... ive successfully got it to measure my weight... but i dont know how to go about making it into a joystick... any help is greatly appreciated! thanks!

I was working on trying to use glovepie and ppjoy to use the balance board in a 3D first person environment (akin to the WoW setup) but I am having trouble getting the script to map correctly. I tried to use some of the dead-zone stuff and some of the initializing to zero stuff, but I am stuck. I could use any suggestions you might have... or if you wanted to come up with something on your own, I would be very happy to take a look at it and see how you got it to work. Thank you for your contributions so far. Best of luck in the future.

If you post a help request and the code you've written in a thread on the forum below, I'll be happy to take a look at it, and I'm sure the rest of the community would gladly help in any way they can.
