Fans of SNK and the Virtual Console, you'll be happy you're reading this post today. A couple of titles, Fatal Fury 2 and Art of Fighting 2 both popped up on the ESRB website with Wii listings, as well as Samurai Shodown and Samurai Shodown 2. Not only that, but classic title Dig Dug also popped up.
Now that's what we need! Some new, non-shooter titles on the Virtual Console are a welcome addition to the Wii's catalog.

I'm glad to see even more fighters coming to the VC, especially on the Neo Geo platform. I'd love to see SVC Chaos: SNK Versus Capcom make it's way over too, but that probably isn't likely. But hey I can dream can't I?
Actually there is one shooter I want to see make it to the VC pretty badly.. That would be Blazing Star for the Neo Geo. I've seen it described best on a online review as the "Metal Slug of shooters." It's not cartoony or funny like Metal Slug is, but it will certainly keep you so glued to it that it would be difficult to remove the controller from your cold dead hands.
