GameStop stores to celebrate MGS4 with midnight launches

I'll be there at midnight to get my artbook + LE version. This is going to be the longest 7 days of my life.

I preordered MGS4 like, 4 months ago at my local EB games (apparently not everyone has an EB, but here in Vermont, we have EB Games and Gamestop at opposite ends of 'Teh Mall') and our Gamestop isn't on the list. Hopefully EB (who is owned by the same company) will do a midnight launch still, maybe they're independently owned? I'll find out today anyway...

SO pissed that my gamestop isnt doing this. i wish i could transfer preorders, now i have to wait until sunrise!

So does anybody know if Best Buy are going to be opening at midnight? I want to get the 80GB bundle... that is, if it's even available on the 12th.

...or walking into one of the three Walmarts in my area around 12:00 and purchasing it, without a pre-order.

And depending on when they get their shipments, and when they decided to stock the game, you can get it even earlier than 12:00. I've seen plenty of games on the shelf a day before they were for sale but just without a price tag.

If you go to an older walmart they sometimes have the old cash registers which don't tell them when they can sell a game. I ended up getting "Drawn to Life" almost a week early because of this.

Will wal mart be selling the MGS4 PS3 bundle on the 12th. Does anybody know? No gamestops in my area will be open at midnight either.

My LE can wait until morning.

As far as I know, the PS3 80GB bundle is a GS exclusive so I wouldn't expect BB or WallyWorld to be carrying it.

I pre-ordered back in April - I'll be waiting at the Union Square NYC store. I'm not going to get there early, maybe about 11pm. I'm not that desperate.

Does any one know if there is a list of Canadian EB stores that will be doing a midnight release ?

Anyone know how long they're going to be selling the 80GB bundles? I'm going to get to my local Gamestop at 9pm right when they close and wait out there with my girlfriend until the midnight opening because I don't want to take any chances on missing out on the bundle in case I can't find it in the coming months, and I don't want to get stuck with the 40GB model. But if they're going to be making these for a while I'll relax a little bit. Does anyone know?
