MGS4 PS3 bundle on Amazon.com tomorrow

Interested in the 80GB Metal Gear Solid 4 PS3 bundle? It'll likely be hard to come by on June 12, so those worried about picking one up in person can try their luck online. Amazon.com will be pre-selling the North American branded console bundles tomorrow morning, so best rest up your refreshing finger, and get that credit card of yours good and ready.
Amazon will begin selling the bundles at 10am PST (or 1pm EST) on Friday, June 6. They expect to sell out quickly (duh), so get "there" early. Best of luck to you.

These guys are fools for making this bundle so limited. It's the first package of stuff that's made me consider getting a PS3, but I'm on vacation with my wife, so I won't be standing in line at midnight or hitting refresh relentlessly on my browser. (Who am I kidding? I wouldn't have done this anyway.)
I feel like they could have sold a lot of MGS4 PS3 bundles by mass-manufacturing them so that I could walk into any retailer and buy one. But instead it's some scarce, limited edition BS. Boo. Maybe they'll have something good by Xmas.

Dirk, this isn't the Limited Edition bundle... this is the regular MGS4 bundle that will be on sale for quite some time, especially since they discontinued the Motorstorm Bundle and are replacing it with this one. So you're fine.

The line I got when I asked about the bundle's longevity was, "We aren't taking preorders. We don't know how many we'll get. We don't know how long we'll have them in stock."
If I can walk into a store and buy one in a few weeks, that'd be cool. If not, I guess it'll be a missed opportunity.

The link is just a bunch of scans from the hardcover book that comes with MGS Collector's Edition. It looks legit, so anyone that wants to avoid potential spoilers should stay away.

I am trying hard not to buy this bundle. Call me cheap or whatever, but this generation is too expensive. I hope to hold out until there's a PS3 bundle that has mass market appeal at a sub 300 bones price tag.
