By a rather large margin, Penny Arcade's "The Unhorse" took the top spot in this week's webcomic wrapup. And we're sure all those voters were rooting for the horse, right? Right?

Quite frankly, the facial expressions made it. Otherwise it would've been hum-drum morbid humor, but they completely nailed it with the facial expressions

PA was good last week. People don't seem to realize how tough it is to write a funny comic, much less 3 a week like they do. Sometimes it's just hit and miss.

Well, two major factors that usually leave a sour taste in my mouth at Penny Arcade are A) frequent strips that require the reader to have seen the accompanying blog post to understand them, and B) an abundance of juvenile characteristics (absurd levels of swearing, Fruit Fuckers, etc.).

Nevertheless... I thoroughly enjoyed the Unhorse.
