I've actually never played Guitar Hero, so I honestly don't know much about the gameplay...but don't you have to strum the guitar as you press the frets? For about the first 200 notes, he is pressing the frets with both hands...

Yeah, it is an "accepted" way to play for people to use both hands on the frets during hammer on/offs (and sometimes use their elbow to strum). I find the one (I think the guy's name was Conrad) where he played it the way it is supposed to be played much more of an accomplishment even if he didn't get 100% - although I guess I did once see Slash play guitar with two hands on the frets and an elbow strumming (actually it didn't). I know it's just a game but I have to find some humor in it :P.

Not for hammer ons and pull offs. And if you don't know what those are, they are some notes that you can just push the other note and it will play. You can do it on real guitar, so that is why they have it.

He's tapping it, using an elbow strum for the first red note and off he goes.

Quite amazing, eight months ago, nobody even dared the idea to fc it.

I can't say anything on the difficulty of Beatmania IIDX, but this is one tough song. I mean, stupid tough. If you've never played it before, you really can't compare it.

Um, no, not like in any way shape or form is he. NO ONE has gotten 100% on Through the Fire and Flames ever. Including hellashes. So until he gets 100% on Through the Fire and Flames, he sucks in comparison to this guy.

Have to agree with Pat here. If that was a legit run (no cheats) then this dude is awesome.

Chris Better, maybe, but as groundbreaking as HA? Hell no.

Hellashes was the first to FC Jordan. Jordan was the first ever glimpse at an "impossible" song, and this song STILL isn't passed by alot of expert players. The Jordan FC is more deserving, in my opinion, as it really meant more to the GH community.

Hellashes may be better IMO. It all depends on what song the person has worked on. Hellashes hasn't really gone for TtFaF. He actually has only two scores listed on all of scorehero, and those are for The Devil Went Down to Georgia(IMO harder than dragonforce) and the Slash Guitar Battle. Looking at Jordan, not only was Hellashes the first to FC, he's the only person to FC it twice.

chris may be the first person to RECORD himself gettting 100% but I'm sure he isn't THE FIRST

This is why EVERY music game in existance needs an online ranking system (and a I don't mean XBL/PSN)

Hey, if you are that good, then you would go out and buy a video camera. I mean you would EASILY get sponsored to play GHIII. There is no reason if you were that good not to be known.

And then could he score a million points and unlock superstardom?

Whew... Now that that's finally been done, maybe some people can actually get a life rather than playing Guitar Hero...

If this is substantiated, he should send this to Twin Galaxies... RIGHT NOW.

Watch "The King of Kong" and prepare to loose all respect for Twin Galaxies as you watch them parade around like 11 year olds bullying other kids on the playground and being immature elitiest twats... especially Billy Mitchell

I must confess, if I had just hit a full combo on Through The Fire and Flames I'd have a similar reaction.

This would be like throwing a perfect game against the 1927 New York Yankees.

This made my day

Now the new goal is to make 100% in precision mode with large gems and 5X speed. That is the new goal right people?

And what would kick butt would be if someone got 100% in performance mode and was able to prove that they accualy played the song.... but that's just a dream

Now this raises another good point: do you think he could do 100% on 5x and large gems with percision mode ON when playing HARD?

You realize "Precision Mode" is just a stupid way of making GH more like every other music game in existance that actually have timing judgements.

Play ITG and there is a huge difference between a full combo and a quad-star (100%)
