Commando 3 blasts onto XBLA next week, SSFIITHDR beta invite tags along

Capcom's Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 will charge onto Xbox Live Arcade next Wednesday. The game released yesterday on the North American PSN; however, the XBLA version, at 800 MS points ($10), will include an invite to the Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix beta.

Commando 3 is a top-down shooter in the vein of classics like Smash TV. There's still no word of a release date for the game on the European PSN.

The game was going to be called Mercs 2 since Mercs is the sequel to commando, but the name was already going to be used for the upcoming Pandemic game. I enjoyed Mercs in the arcade.

The beta isn't enough to get me to buy this. If the game is good I'll grab it though...the fact that it is 800 points makes me want to lean towards buying.

Anyone who "pays 10 bucks for a beta" when it's only going to have Ken and Ryu needs to find something better to do.
