'Dark Apprentice' shows some moves in Soul Calibur IV vid

We knew Darth Vader's "Secret Apprentice" from Star Wars: The Force Unleashed would join the fight in Soul Calibur IV, and here he is in all his Dark Side-ian glory. Unlike the console exclusive Star Wars characters in SC IV -- Darth Vader for PS3 and Yoda on Xbox 360 -- the Secret Apprentice will be a playable on both consoles.

Oh, and if you care, the video also shows a tiny bit more of the actual non tie-in Soul Calibur cast.

He is canon, actually. It's been stated that Force Unleashed will be the first Star Wars title in a while to add to the canon, so...maybe his name is kind of important *shrug*. I'm just sayin'.

Also just because someone is large doesn't mean they can't be fast or strong. Hell Marvel's Kingpin is famous for being super big and bulky and looking obese while only having 1% body fat.

I hate to admit it, but from all the vids, Yoda look cooler than Vader. Vader looks a little stiff.

But, Vaders apprentice looks like better than both. He looks like he could actually fit in SC.

Why not just have the team that makes soul calibur make a great star wars fighting game instead of adding characters that don't fit in to soul calibur's world to soul calibur.

I'm sure lots of people will disagree with me but just thought I'd add my 2 cents.

No, I totally agree. Remake Teras Kasi and add a ton more character with many more exotic styles and weapons. I think it's a great idea...admittedly I was probably the only person on the planet that didn't hate MoTK.

On a side note, I have fond memories of infinite lightsaber battles on hard...I tried to make them last forever without getting hit, or actually landing a hit. Fun times.

Yes, I'm upset that the game has *exclusive characters for each console.
