i finally made it, ma.
i'm gonna promptly download this and listen!
James Lockwood @ Jun 6th 2008 12:43PM
Hey. Do you want to know how many minutes early the JPAG got the show? 55 minutes. Think about how happy you would be if you downloaded it 55 minutes early. You could be 55 minutes ahead of the crowd. While they're all chatting about how funny the intro was, you can chuckle away, smug that you're half-way through.
Not even your mother loves you as much as the JPAG love you.

Niceee. I have a 12 hour car ride to the beach tonight. This will deff. come in handy.
PojoMofo @ Jun 6th 2008 12:51PM
Is that a pic of Chris Gump??? Or is it Forest Grant??
What ever it is, I cant unsee it, its quite disturbing
Korova *Pyro aspect* @ Jun 6th 2008 1:38PM
Its Griffin Gump
Justin McElroy @ Jun 6th 2008 3:05PM
No, it's Chris.
Vegnagun bwf @ Jun 6th 2008 1:19PM
Huzzah! Another podcast. I don't want to have the podcast be broken up into specials. I'd rather get the usual weekly dose of boners.
Vegnagun bwf @ Jun 6th 2008 2:25PM
As a side note to Justin: I'm laughing hysterically at the french guy.
"Ze helmet...how does he see out of it?"

This must be Ludwig before he was bitten by a radioactive Magilla.

Wow, those are fabulous, thanks for sharing!

"Nobody owns Zunes."
Greatest podcast opening ever!

Y'know, those of us who put in the time and effort to enter in your "Now You're A Songwriter" competition are crawling up the walls waiting to find out who won. Considering you /basically/ promised to focus this episode on the contest, it would have been nice if you'd at least MENTIONED it.
Justin McElroy @ Jun 6th 2008 3:06PM
So, at an hour and 5 minutes in where we talk about it for 2 minutes doesn't count?
Dave @ Jun 6th 2008 5:15PM
D'oh! I didn't have time to actually /listen/ yet so I skipped through listening for songs and there weren't any. My initial post was supposed to sound sarcastic, too, if you hadn't read it that way... because obviously you all /owe/ us so much.
Total boner on my part, sorry for being a jerk.
Parsnipzilla @ Jun 7th 2008 2:21AM
Confusious say, look before you leap.
Well..... lisen.
Before you... post....
And..... I'm just gonna shut up now......
Stoo @ Jun 7th 2008 8:20AM
I believe it was Samuel Butler not Confucius...
I know, shame on me.

Just so I know if I ever have to e-mail again about the awesomeness of Bo Jackson:
Are we allowed to use the word "rape" in an e-mail?

I agree with Ludwig about the present premise of Qore. It does seem like people will be paying for promotion - which doesn't seem too worthwhile considering places like Joystiq.
Now, I also disagree with Ludwig. If those people don't keep up with gaming through the Internet, for free, why would they pay for their gaming information? I don't think a convenience argument would work. If they can access Qore, they can access the Internet, which has free gaming information.
All this said, Ludwig is still Joystiq's Ambassador of Awesome. If I had the parts, I'd bear your lion cubs.
Korova *Pyro aspect* @ Jun 7th 2008 2:11PM
I totally agree about the Lego games. My Boss told me that game was fun; he played it with his kid. I tried the star wars and my jaws tensed up after three minutes. It was hard to control, hektic and kinda dumb run around game.
Moeez @ Jun 9th 2008 6:17PM
YES! NO Chris Grant! I just don't like him, too much cynicism and negativeness in him.
Onto the podcast now :)
Ryan M @ Jun 9th 2008 10:09PM
Justin, thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you....ect for bringing back "Get ready for love" i do enjoy "fez dispenser", but the Joystiq Podcast theme song will always be "Get ready for love" to me. "Red Eye" is a welcome return also.
I got into Nick Cave because of this show, and i love his band's newest album "Dig Lazuras Dig" Anyone else like them?
hope Chris isn't really dead, Later
