Command & Conquer: Kane's Wrath unleashes June 23 on Xbox 360

Command & Conquer: Kane's Wrath for Xbox 360 will hit retail with a vengeance on June 23. ShackNews reports the game, which was an "expansion pack" for the PC version of Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, will not require Xbox 360 owners to own the original game.

Kane's Wrath on Xbox 360 will cost $40 and contains an "exclusive challenge mode." EA also released a video about the achievements available in the game, which we've placed after the break.

Perhaps we can have a moratorium on characters named "Kane" or any other spelling variant of that name, like "Cain." Seems like it gets used a lot.

Kain from Legacy of Kain/Soul Reaver is the best Kain/Cain ever, and its not even close

While I agree with CS's sentiment, it's not like Kane is a brand new character- he's been around since day one of this franchise, which is more than ten years old.

Kane's been around since Red Alert 1 (1950s), so he's about... what, 150 years old now? He appeared to be about 40 in the 1950s and he's still alive in 2050+...

This is a great game on the PC. Despite all the RTSes coming to consoles, I still don't think they're playable with a gamepad; not compared to using a mouse.

I said the same about shooters about ten years ago and still stand by that despite how good and fun they've become in spite of their mouselessness.
