Even when it was called the Revolution, Crossbeam Studios decided to get their hands dirty and promote some big titles. The original three were Thorn, Midnight and Orb, and everyone was totally getting into the vibe of these promising projects.
Unfortunately, all those titles seem to be heading to the big recycle bin in the sky. The studio isn't going out of business; they are changing direction towards the PC and the early Wii projects simply aren't a priority, despite the fan following. A giant Falafelkid article on Crossbeam delves deep into the studio and its staff, which is a must-read for anyone interested in the core machinations of a smaller development team.
The games haven't been scrapped forever and ever, but you can stop thinking about saving up for any imminent pre-orders. Check out Cubed3's coverage and discussion with Greg Szemiot from Crossbeam, as well as the original dissection feature.

They should really consider developing the games for WiiWare. I'm sure they could really benefit from the lower development costs and from only having to develop a smaller game.

I don't understand why anyone/publisher/producer would cancel a game for the Wii. With the wide variety of people that own a wii would buy any game.

Makes sense, since we haven't heard a damn thing about any of these since the names were originally dropped back when they first revealed every known Wii game in development almost exactly two years ago

If you read the full interviews and articles, you'll find out that the games were announced when they were barely in early design stages. I don't think that they ever actually reached the development stage, so effectively they are canceling just ideas and not actual games.

I suppose this is fine. A company that doesn't choose it's direction based on the biggest profit is rarely seen. In any case, we will just have to look elsewhere for new wii games.
