Apparently, My Pokémon Ranch (Nintendo, 1 player, 1,000 Wii Points) is a game that lets you introduce your Miis and your Pokémon (they can be imported from Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl) and allow them to hang out together. It is not, literally, my Pokémon ranch, though I think it's an error that anyone could make. But don't worry, the shredding was promptly halted.

This doesn't sound like it's worth $10...but I'm sure it'll still sell like eleventy-billion copies.

i hear Nintendo is in court now trying to make that a real number for just such an occasion.
they also ran out of numbers to count their money with so it's win-win for them.

Models like that are in the order of 500 bytes each, not 500K.

Good! I've just got 1000 points from the Stars=Points thing that I've been meaning to spend. Since I had no idea the Stars were of any use I'm getting this game for free. Or might get that Dr. Mario wiiware title (hate the game though).

Yeah, I'm with you, so you just put a bunch of pokemon in a ranch to watch them run around doing what? I don't understand it.

I suppose it's like Afrika (I think I spelt it right. At least sony-right) but that it connects to a game you already have. And you can also unlock Mew and some other rare Pokemon on it.
*shrugs* people pay for promotional podcasts and demos so I don't see the problem. Isn't it true that you also have to buy clothes and such in Home? For a mini-mini-game that furthers another game I have I'm not bothered.

Transferring them to Pokemon Ranch clears space in the DS card's boxes, so you can collect more creatures or experiment with different breeding combinations. Basically, it's for folks who are hurting for space to keep all of the critters they spent hours upon hours collecting and training. It's the same principle as Pokemon Box (which was for the GBA-generation games and GameCube), with the added bonus of a little more interactivity. Might be a little overpriced, but if you're a hardcore Poke-addict it's worth it.
I'm not ashamed to say that I am a hardcore Poke-addict.

I've had this game for almost 2 months now, and I do have to say, while I don't own Diamond or Pearl, the only fun in it is to turn the game on every day to see what Pokemon they give you, then turn it off to see a silhouette of the Pokemon they'll give you tomorrow. But I have alot of double on my farm, can anyone explain this to me, I have the Japanese version.

I have to give props to Pokémon Ranch for one thing:
It's the only game to make big and tough-looking Pokémon like Gyarados, Dialga, Palkia, etc. look cute.
DON'T YOU JUST WANNA HUG THEM?!

So what you're saying is WiiWare is the size of 2 GBA carts duct taped together.
