Square Enix is releasing a Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII PSP bundle for Europe to coincide with its June 20 release. The bundle includes a PSP Slim with the above art and a copy of the game for 189,90 Euros (US $293.43). According to Amazon France, if you bought a PSP Slim (169,20 Euros) and Crisis Core (36,99 Euros) separately, it'd cost you 20,70 Euros (US $32) more, so it's definitely a good deal to pick up the bundle (assuming, of course, you don't already have a PSP).Fun fact: When the title finally reaches Europe, it will have been over 9 months since the Japanese launch and 3 months since the North American debut.

And Europeans complain they get shafted in the videogame department.
We North Americans aren't getting this bundle, but you guys did get the game last so.....

Dammit, I want this bundle so bad, it was supposed to be limited to 77,777 copies. BOOOOOO!!!!
MinimumWageNinja @ Jun 10th 2008 12:14PM
Blahhhhh. I just got the GOW bundle in the U.S. (don't get me wrong, it's amazing)... but somehow a PSP with FFVII dedication art on it makes me secretly envy it. I'm playing Crisis Core right now.

They need to detail the FRONT of the system... the part we actually look at.

Good to see Square are still keeping it old skool with release schedules on a game that was already region free and required no conversion, only translations. Hopefully they won't be so fucking blase when it comes to releasing their home console games.
Also guys, when your game doesn't sell as well in Europe as you expected it's because we have all already imported from the 'States or bought it from ebay.

You know, when you guys get the bundle only Japan got but limited to 77,777 units thus driving scalper values to well over $500 in conjunction to your Crisis Core standard edition shipping in MUCH nicer packaging including an art book, I don't want to hear ANY fucking boohoo'ing in regards to a perceived "shaft" you might be getting on this game. Yeah, you're the last to get it... but your version and bundles are the ultimate editions. We got.. a Shinra UMD case...
ComradeTrotskii @ Jun 10th 2008 1:08PM
I suppose this is down to a matter of priorities then. Mine is simply playing games, yours appears to be added value.
Sir Fidlious Wong (Justin T. McElroy Memorial Burn of the Day Award) @ Jun 10th 2008 2:08PM
Well, when value IS added, I can't really complain. Take, as an example, Atlus RPGs on PS2. Yes, in many cases these games are YEARS late but in most cases where that is an issue, we get nifty packaging and art books to make up for it.
Now this, in regards to Crisis Core, isn't the optimum situation (after all, you had to wait a FULL THREE MONTHS while many more languages were added) but it certainly beats the way Nintendo treats your region.
In other words, sucks that you had to wait for Crisis Core but at least you got a premium edition out of it instead of the "coming soon" label slapped on SSBB.

Bout time, been waiting ages for this game ¬_¬ Already getting bored of it.
PojoMofo @ Jun 10th 2008 12:22PM
Crisis Core- GREAT game, nice bundle EU

Here's what I wanna know: will Europe's version of this FFVII PSP be limited like Japan's was? I imported mine from Japan for a very pretty penny almost solely because it was limited & numbered. Of course, I also think it's the best-looking PSP ever made, but the European version looks the same except for the number missing from the UMD door.

Remember when the USD and Euro were almost equal in value...
The good ole days...
PojoMofo @ Jun 10th 2008 1:15PM
those days are long gone, never to be heard from again, like the days when a gallon of gas was under $3
BPM [MKWii: 2578 3585 8392] @ Jun 10th 2008 2:20PM
I remember when gas used to be less than a dollar per gallon... :(
Eggy @ Jun 10th 2008 3:05PM
I rather like the low dollar. Buying stuff from the US has never been more interesting.

I remember when a gallon of gas was less than a gallon of milk -- oh wait, it still is!
Also, bundle, want.
neuralien @ Jun 10th 2008 2:08PM
damnit, why is it that everything I buy something, they release an awesome limited-edition version of what I just bought?
BunnySlapper @ Jun 10th 2008 3:34PM
Umm, anyone have any idea where I can preorder/buy this bundle and have it shipped to the US?
Kat @ Jun 24th 2008 5:54AM
You can get the bundle from game.co.uk, they sell it for £144.00 which includes the psp and the game and they ship to the USA and other countries for a very good shipping price, hope that helps!
I couldn't even find this bundle in the stores (well I only checked one in my local area) in the UK, I had to find it online along with the special edition version of the game (the one with the artbook) cause the shops only sell the normal version (not slip cover or artbook).
