People should really give this one a try. The Tales series has had some down points over the years but when its good, its really good. And Vesperia looks spectacular too.

Tales of Vesperia -and the Tales series in general- is published by Namco Bandai.

Maybe you got it confused with the awesome news that Square-Enix's next entry in the Star Ocean series is going to be on Xbox 360? :)

Tales games have years upon years of histories and sequels that have me really enjoying them. Great personality, wonderful graphics, and a large cast of varied, memorable characters.

Fable has one game under it's belt, one I LOVED while playing, but after I was over with it, the things that stuck with me where "Chicken Chaser!" and "Ooo, you're 'Norty'!" Oh, and you're masters "I could break you!" retorts, from trying to smack him.

....Yeah. Tales is a much more surprising achievement, being an exclusive, than Fable... Tales all the way!

IGN state this about ToV:

4:20: North America release for Tales of Vesperia will be in August some time. Europe will be in 2009. Asia outside of Japan will be some time this summer. They explain that this is a first for the series -- a near simultaneous launch.

That's 2009 for Europe. Ah, another JRPG 'lets take 8 monthsto translate it for Europe even though people in the UK could have the US version'. Square-Enix used to do this, now it's Namco-Bandai's turn? Pah. Import time methinks.

hopefully Namco have the sense to release it as Region Free - but knowing the greedy devs wanting to charge us Europeans 25% more than the US, i wouldnt hold my breath.

i wish all games were R-Free like on the PS3 - now thats a real simultanious launch.

I'm all for Region Free =D But having a NTSC-US console alongside my PAL one helps as well, just in case.

I'm incredibly excited to see Tales coming to the 360. Symphonia sold me last generation on the Tales series, and seeing this one in motion is gorgeous and the characters seem to have the same heart and personality that Symphonia impressed me with. Sign me up!

I want Too Human and I want this.

And then I want Infinite Undiscovery in September.

Fable 2 is one of my least anticipated games. Not even sure I'll buy it. Maybe eventually.

I don't like to play more than 2 games at a time, and I prefer only 1, so I'll have to beat these quick :/

With all the rpgs coming out this year, as well as the AAA titles, I don't know where I'll find the time to play everything.

That's not a bad situation to be in for a gamer.

Sure, I'm looking forward to Fable 2. The original was a great game, even if it didn't live up to the hype Peter Molyneux delivered. The Tales series is a venerable RPG staple, though, and as a main entry in the series, Vesperia shouldn't be ignored. Maybe Terrence would be more hyped for it if Namco added a first-person mode.
