I haven't had this problem and hope not to, but some stores require that the Serial Number be scanned. I know for a fact that if the system was purchased at Walmart, and if you know the store, date, register, and hopefully the approx. time, they can reprint a receipt for you. You'll just need to cooperate with the original purchasers. And you can do it from any walmart...but if it was bought from some where else, I don't know if they keep the same records or as willing to hunt through them.

Elephant Man??? What about Twin Peaks?? Blue Velvet?? ...pretty much everything other than that lawn mower thing he did gave obvious influence to the series.

I'm not a big fan of FPS but I feel that Silent Hill should totally go that direction. I think being a slower-paced game (in a good way), it would benefit from the more personal interaction with game. But that's just me.

I have to disagree, I think silent hill being an fps would ruin the experience and in general rob the unique fright the game tends to instill. FPSs should be more of a shock fright game, things popping up. Silent hill tends to be more of an ambietic scare, making you progressively not want to be somewhere, in other words, they don't rely on loud noises and pop-up images. Back to the point, I just don't think it would work, why fix something not broken, right?

I don't know if I agree with you, but I have to admit, the 1st Person scenes in the apartment in Silent Hill 4 in the second half of the game were by far the scariest things I've ever seen in any other movie or game. The gameplay sucked, but that part was fantastic.
