Why is it that in just about every photo I've seen of him, Reggie looks PO'd.

What about all those Kid Icarus rumors that were floating around. We could just be seeing the new KI game, with all new enemies, if this rumor is even true.

It'd be way more interesting if it was really new characters instead of old character revival...
Maybe some of these "everyday stuff based" games Miyamoto comes up with...

I bet they announce they will be publishing the Conduit. Either that or Disaster Day of Crisis will be the game with new characters.

I cannot wait for E3. We haven't heard much about any future Nintendo games, except for the new Mario Baseball, so we know Nintendo has been saving a lot of surprises.

I think at E3 Nintendo will announce:

Wii hard drive
Disaster:Day of Recovery
Project H.A.M.M.E.R.
New Zelda game
New Kid Icarus game

If they're announcing Kid Icarus, they aren't announcing a new Zelda. I doubt Nintendo would want one stealing the thunder from the other.

I do think we'll know about a new Zelda before the end of the year, though. Just not at E3.

Also, I'm betting/hoping/praying on revived 2D franchises on WiiWare like DKC, Mario, Metroid and Zelda.

I'd prefer to see a new franchise with new characters, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was Kid Icarus (although I'm still sort of skeptical about it's existence) with new enemies and characters and stuff.

It's obvious they're sitting on at least one if not 2 or 3 big nintendo titles. So far there is nothing coming out this fall in the action/adventure/rpg/fps genres from nintendo.

I just want another side scrolling metroid game. I liked metroid prime 1 2 and 3. But the sidescrolling ones are my favs.

This doesn't have anything to do specifically with the "new game with new characters" but since we're also drifting into what we'd like to see at E3, I'm just going to throw this out there.

I would love to see a WiiWare Four Swords Adventures with DS connectivity (instead of GBA connectivity). That would be awesome!

New characters eh? Hopefully it's true!

I'm also hoping for a new Animal Crossing, Star fox, and Pikmin game to be announced, but who knows how viable any of those three games are.

That sound you just heard was the collective noise of dozens of third-party devs crying out in anguish.

@Psy

Yeah crying out in anguish at how useless they are and unable to create a decent, inventive game to save themselves.

Don't get too excited, it will be a new casual/mini-game-fest title.
